Pokémon; Journey Through Kanto

Jigglypuff

[INTRO]

Our heroes are traveling through a dark, cold desert & they were all exhausted.

"I'm tired," Tomo yawns as he was leaning against Yuki.

"Are we nearly there?" Willow yawned.

"We should be getting close," Yuki said, tiredly.

As Yuki said, they finally reached a town called Neon Town.

When they entered the city, they saw bright lights & people walking about.

"It looks like daytime here," Willow said.

"Neon Town is open 24 hours," Brock said.

"Oh, it never closes?" Yuki asked.

"No, it's action all day," Brock replied.

"I already don't like this town."

The others sighed, they didn't either.

They were passing Casinos, seeing people playing slots.

Suddenly, a man dressed in black, who looked like a gangster, bumped into Tomo.

"Watch where you're going, kid!" The man shouted as he grabbed onto Tomo.

"I don't think so, buster," Yuki said as she grabbed the man's arm & flipped him over onto his back. "Now, I suggest you make like a drum & beat it!"

The man nodded & ran away with a dust trail.

They heard sirens and turned to see Officer Jenny approaching them.

"Good work defending your brother," Jenny complimented.

"Thanks, but what's going on here? What's with these people in this city?" Yuki asked.

"Oh, it's just these people don't sleep. It's loud and non-stop action," Jenny explained.

"That doesn't sound healthy. People need to sleep or they might have problems," Yuki frowned.

"I hear ya, but these people don't understand that. There is a hotel not too far from here, so I suggest you kids head there," Jenny said before she took off to stop another fight.

Tomo yawns loudly & rubbed his eyes.

"Let's go," Yuki said as she picks Tomo up in her arms.

Willow & Brock agreed with that idea.

The following day, the gang immediately left Neon Town.

"It's much quieter here than in Neon Town," Willow said.

"That Town is insane," Brock said.

"We barely got any sleep," Yuki said.

"Pikachu," Raiden pointed at a pink, round, plush-like Pokémon with short, pointed ears, big blue eyes & a curled tuft on its head.

"Hey, a Jigglypuff," Yuki said as she pulled out her Pokédex

Jigglypuff, the Balloon Pokémon.  Because it can inflate its body like a balloon, Jigglypuff has incredible lung capacity. This allows it to sustain its mysterious song until everyone listening falls asleep.

"Aww," Willow said as she ran up to it. "Can you sing for us, please?"

"Jigglypuff," Jigglypuff shook its head.
