Cinnabar Island

[INTRO]

After catching a ferry, the gang was finally at Cinnabar Island. Along the way, the gang & Todd met two members of Team Rocket named Cassidy & Butch who tried to steal Pokémon by setting up a fake Pokémon Breeding Center. Then, Todd left for the mountains to find more Pokémon to photograph.

"I hear that Cinnabar Island is beautiful," Willow commented.

"It is. Cinnabar Island is a tourist attraction & there are hot springs here," Brock said.

"Really? Can we take a hot spring?" Willow asked, excitedly.

Yuki nodded. "I don't see why not."

"And we could get our fossils restored," Brock said.

When they docked on Cinnabar Island, the gang split up. Yuki headed to the Pokémon Center to get her Pokémon checked out. Tomo was with her.

Willow went to book a hot spring & Brock headed to Cinnabar Lab.

"Okay, now let's look for the gym," Yuki said.

Just then a hippie came up to Yuki & Tomo. "Are you looking for the gym?" he asked.

"Yes, do you know where it is?" Yuki answered/asked.

"The gym leader built his gym in a fiery place where firefighters would never win," the hippie said before he left. 

"What did that man mean sis?" Tomo asked.

"That was a riddle & the answer is a volcano," Yuki replied.

The gang met up at the hot springs, and soon they were relaxing in the baths.

"This feels great," Willow sighs.

"We need this," Yuki smiled.

"Pika," Raiden laughed as Igglybuff splashed him with water.

"Igglybuff," Igglybuff smiles.

"So Brock, what did the scientist  say about our fossils?" Willow asked.

"The Professor said that we'll get our fossil Pokémon tomorrow," Brock replied.

"Okay. We can collect them after my gym battle," Yuki said before she told the others the riddle.

"Your guess is right," Brock said, "a volcano's lava is something a firefighter would never be able to put out, no matter how much water they use."

"What better place for a Fire Type Gym than a volcano," Willow said.

"I guess you're right," Yuki said.

After finishing up, the gang found a room & fell asleep.

The next day, the gang went to find the Cinnabar Gym. The volcano was located far back on Cinnabar Island. When they arrived at the volcano, they didn't see anything.

"That's odd. We're at the volcano, but I don't see any gym buildings," Brock commented, confused.

"How about inside the volcano?" Willow suggested.

"Only one way to find out," Yuki said.

There was a cave at the base of the volcano & the gang was about to check it out when the hippie Yuki saw yesterday came out of the cave.
