The Mystery Egg Hatches

[INTRO]

The gang was resting in the Pokémon Center. Nurse Joy was looking after their Pokémon & giving Willow's Egg a check-up.

Yuki was on the phone with Professor Oak. 

#"My dear, I can see that you are doing well on your journey,"# Oak smiled.

"Thanks, professor.  How are my fossil Pokémon doing?" Yuki asked.

#"They're doing quite well actually.  At first, they were a little shy, but they managed to adjust, especially Aeordactyl,"# Oak answered.

"That's good. That's what I was worried about,"  Yuki said.

#"I must go now, Yukiko. I have paperwork to get through. Bye,"# Oak said before ending the call.

After getting their Pokémon back, the gang was talking about the Willow's Egg.

"So what Pokémon do you think you will get?" Brock asked.

"I don't know. I do hope whatever it is will be happy and healthy," Willow said.

They left the Pokémon Center and were about to go to a café when Team Rocket, disguised as egg sellers, came up to them. They were holding baskets filled with Eggs and some of them looked similar to Willow's Egg.

"Hello everybody," Jessie greeted.

"Good day," James greeted.

"We're Egg Sellers & we were wondering if you were interested in buying our Eggs," Jessie said.

"No thank you," Yuki politely refused.

"We insist," James said.

"No means no," Yuki frowned.

"Plan B!" Team Rocket threw the fake Eggs at the gang.

"Hey!" The gang tried not to get hit by the fake Eggs.

What they didn't notice was Meowth swiping the Willow's Egg.

When the fake Eggs stopped flying at them...

"My Egg's gone!" Willow cried out.

"Oh no," Tomo says.

"Pikachu," Raiden pointed to Meowth who was carrying the Egg.

"Give me back my Egg, ya flea bag!" Willow shouted, angrily.

"Why, you little twerp!" Meowth twitched his eye and wanted to scratch Willow, but Jessie and James grabbed him and immediately ran away.

"They took my Egg," Willow said, sadly.

"Bloody cowards," Yuki growled as her eyes glowed blue.

"Pika," Raiden pointed to the ground.

"They left a trail of broken eggshells from the fake Eggs," Brock said.

"Amateurs," Yuki said as they followed the trail.

After following the trail, they found Team Rocket hiding inside a cabin outside the park.

Meowth was looking after the Egg.

"Seem like the Egg is okay," Brock whispered.

"How about we charge in?" Willow suggested, who was still angry.

Tomo sweat dropped.

"You heard her," Yuki said.

Brock sent out his Rhyhorn and Tauros. "Tackle that door!"

Both Pokémon roared and tackled the door down.

"What the?!" Team Rocket exclaims & got scared of the angry faces.

"Give me back my Egg, Team Losers!" Willow shouted.

Brock quickly returned his Pokémon.

"Not a chance, twerp," James said as he sent out Weezing.

"Weezing Weez," Weezing said.

"Arbok," Jessie sent out her cobra Pokémon.

"Cha," Arbok hissed.

"Have it your way. Smoochum, Marill let's go!" Willow called out.

"Smooch," Smoochum appeared.

"Marill," Marill appeared.

"Smoochum, Marill Team Rocket got your little brother or sister," Willow pointed at her Egg.

Smoochum & Marill glared at Team Rocket.

"Arbok use Wrap!" Jessie commanded.

Arbok charged towards Smoochum.

"Weezing use Sludge attack!" James ordered.

Weezing spews dark brown sludge from both mouths at Marill.

"Smoochum dodge & use Power Snow," Willow countered.

Smoochum dodges Arbok and releases a stream of power snow from her mouth that hits Arbok.

"Marill Disarming Voice."

"Marill!" Marill yelled as she released a beam of purple hearts from her mouth.

"Weezing," Weezing winced.

"Use Confusion."

"Smooch," Smoochum's eyes glowed violet and telekinetically lifted Team Rocket in the air and into a wall.

Yuki quickly grabbed the Egg & gave it to Willow.

"Thank goodness," Willow sighed.

Just then, Willow's Egg began to glow. 

"Oh, it's hatching," Willow said, excitedly.

Willow's Egg hatched into a small, pink bipedal balloon-like Pokémon with a rounded tuft of hair on top of its head, a small swirl-like pattern on its forehead, red eyes & small, stubby limbs.

"Iggly," the Pokémon said.

"Aww, so cute," Willow squealed as Yuki pulled out her Pokédex.

Igglybuff, the Balloon Pokémon & the pre-evolved form of Jigglypuff. It's always practicing its singing because it wants to improve. Even when it's asleep, it keeps singing in its dreams.

"Iggly," Igglybuff said happily, looking at Willow.

 "Welcome to the world, sweetie," Willow said, sweetly.

"Igglybuff," Igglybuff hugs Willow.

"So sweet," Willow happily hugs Igglybuff.

"This whole thing is touching, but we want that Pokémon!" Jessie declared.

"So hand it over!" James demanded.

"Yeah!" Meowth got his claws ready.

"How about no!" Yuki said. "Raiden use Thunder!"

"CHUUUUUU!" Raiden fired a powerful blast of yellow electricity at Team Rocket.

"TEAM ROCKET'S BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket shouted as they disappeared into the sky.

"Phew, what a day," Yuki sighed.

"You could say that again," Willow agreed.

Then, Willow sent out her Eeee, Ducklett, Sunkern, Ledyba & Vulpix to play with Igglypuff.

Soon, all the Pokémon, including Raiden, Marill & Smoochum, begin to play together. Then, the gang laughed with smiles on their faces.
