LUZ POV:

It's been a pretty boring day so far. I'm currently in 2nd period with Willow. Amity is also here, but she's in the back sitting with Boscha. Willow has been asking soooo much questions. "Did anything interesting happen there? Do you have friends there? How was it? Was it fun? Boring? Depressing? I've missed you sooooo much!!" She's very enthusiastic. "Uhh yeah I've been pretty good! I've missed you so much, too! What about you? Drama? Anything interesting since I left?" "Not really, it's pretty boring without you." "Awww Willow," I say while pulling her into a hug. "Ok that's a little tight," Willow says while laughing. I chuckle and back away. Right then the teacher walks in. Me and Willow turn around and face the teacher.

The teacher begins to speak, "Hi everyone! For the first day of school, you will be doing a presentation about yourselves. It's due next week on Monday! You all can get started now." "Ughh, I hate presentations," I complain while pulling my beanie over my face and leaning down in my chair. "I looove them, I love being in front of everyone," Willow says, in a very excited voice. "That's weird, I thought everyone hated presentations and standing or talking in front of people. I have stage fright," I say while sitting back up and putting my beanie back on normally. "Oh, I can help you if you want! And you can present in front of me first, if you would like of course," Willow says. "Sure, 'll still be a little nervous, but I'm sure it'll help," I respond back. We both get on our computers and start making our presentations.

5th period is finally over and I get to go to lunch. It's felt like such a long day. Me and Willow make our way to the cafeteria and spot Gus sitting at a seat, I also see Amity with Boscha and Skara. She doesn't look very happy, she's slouched down in her chair looking at her phone. However, so is everyone else at the table. I set my food down at the table with Gus and Willow, "I'll be right back," I say while going over to Amity. I don't know if she'll hate me for going to her table or not, since she used to tell me I ruin her reputation, but then her face gets all red when she's with me. 'Make it make sense Amity.'

I'm now at her table, and no one notices, since they are all on their phones. I lean down and get close to her ear. "Wanna sit with me," I whisper into her ear. She jumps. Still, no one notices. Lucky Amity. She looks at me for a while, and I point to the table I'm sitting at. "Uh, sure.." She says, quietly. She gets up and brings her food with her. I hold her free hand and lead her to my table. "Hey guys, can Amity sit with us," I ask, mostly asking Willow. "Sure," Willow and Gus say at the same time. "Great!" I sit down next to Willow, Willow is in the middle of me and Gus and I'm in the middle of Willow and Amity.

For the rest of lunch we just talk about our classes and what we're doing in each one. Amity is quiet most of the time, but louder than she was with Boscha and Skara. I'm glad. Lunch ends and we all make our way to our 3rd class

I just ended 3rd period and I'm walking my way to 4th period right now. I hope it's funner than all my other classes. 4th period is very far away from my 3rd. It's upstairs and all the whole other side of the school than my 3rd period. I walk into the class and see Amity right away. I wave at her and smile. She waves back. I make my way over to sit by her.

"Hey blight," I say while putting my stuff down. "Hey," she responds back, with not much emotion. "You okay?" I ask, with worry in my voice. "Yeah, I just had a test and I'm worried about it," Amity says. 'Of course Amity's worried about a test.' "Wait- A test? On the first day? Why?" I ask. "That's what I said! Sorry- But, I don't know, I guess it was just to see what we know about the class and stuff. And I know nothing! My parents are gonna be so mad," she says, putting her hands over her face at the last part. "Hey, it'll be okay. It's just to see what you know, and you've never had this before. I'm sure your parents won't care that much," I say, putting my hand on her shoulder. "Thank you, Luz. I hope they don't care," Amity says, while taking her hands off of her face and looking at me. I give her a reassuring smile and turn to face the teacher.
