"Hey Luz, did you hear there is a new girl transferring here? I heard a lot of people say she's really nice," Willow says, smiling, clearly very excited about the new girl coming tomorrow. "Uh, no, I haven't heard anything about her," I answer back. "Oh. Well, maybe we can befriend her, if she's nice of course," Willow says, while still smiling. "Mhm, sure."

"Omg Amity! I just heard there's a new girl transferring here, don't know where she's from, but people say she's nice, and popular!! Maybe we can befriend her," Boscha says, not looking up from her phone to even look at me while saying that. "Uh, sure, what's her name?" "I've heard people say her name is Cleo, isn't that cuteee," Boscha responds back. "Uh-huh.. Cute."

LUZ POV:

"Hey Willow!" "Hi Luz!" "So, have you seen the new girl yet," I ask. "No, but maybe she's already in school, so let's go in," Willow responds back, happily. Willow grabs my hand and leads me into the school.

Right as we walk in, I see a girl I've never seen before. She has mint green hair, dark brown skin, green eyes, long lashes, her cheeks are lightly shaded pink, and she's around average for her height. She's very pretty. "Hey Willow, I think that's the new girl," I say, whispering into Willow's ear. "Oooh!! Let's go up to her," Willow says. Willow leads me to the mint green haired girl.

Willow taps on the girl's shoulder lightly and she jumps. "Hi, sorry! Are you the new student," Willow asks politely. "Oh! Yes I am," She answers back. "Oo, you are so pretty! What's your name?" "My name is Cleo," Cleo says back while smiling softly at Willow. "That's a pretty name," I say. "Oh, thank you! What are your names," Cleo asks. "My name is Willow, and this is Luz," Willow answers back, she seems very excited about Cleo. "You guys have pretty names too!" "Do you need any help around the school," I ask. "Oh- Uh, yeah I do," She says while scratching the back of her neck. "Ok! We can show you around," Willow says.

Luz has been talking to the new girl all morning. She didn't even wave at me when I walked into class, and she was already sitting next to Cleo. So I had to sit alone. I made eye contact with Luz right when I walked in too, but she didn't do anything. I hope it's not like this all day.

It was like that all day. At lunch, Luz sat with Cleo. In every class, she was with Cleo. And that's the bad thing, she has every single class with Cleo. I only have 3/4 classes with Luz. I don't wanna become nothing to Luz, I don't want her to forget about me. Why am I acting like this? I don't even like Luz.. Am I jealous? 'No, I can't be. I don't like Luz.' I can still text her though. So, I will. I take out my phone, open Luz's contact, and begin typing.
