CLEO POV:

I suddenly wake up, feeling the warmth of strong arms carrying me. I flutter my eyes open, and realize my head is on their shoulder, facing behind the person carrying me.

I notice that they have brown and short hair, and light brown skin. Is it Luz? I turn my head towards whoever is carrying me and look at their face.

It's Luz.

I blush a little. 'No, you can't do that. Stick to the plan.'

Soon enough, we make it to the car. Luz puts me in the passenger's seat. Luz closes the door and makes her way to the driver's seat.

Luz gets in, and begins driving.

LUNA POV:

"Oh my God, Luna," Cleo says and falls backwards onto her bed. Cleo sighs.

"This is really fun, you sure you don't want to help with the plan," Cleo questions, sitting up and looking towards me.

"Yep, I'm sure.." I say. "Okay whatever you say," Cleo says back, while getting on her phone.

I've told Cleo a million times. I don't want anything to do with this plan. I'm not known, and I don't wanna be known for something bad.

Cleo wants to ruin Luz and Amity's relationship. She believes that someone like Luz shouldn't be with someone like Amity.

Cleo thinks Amity is self-centered, bratty, a 'know-it-all' , and someone who should not be with Luz, because Luz is too good for Amity.

If Amity ever finds out what Cleo is doing, Cleo is going to convince Amity that it's for the better of her reputation. Luz ruins Amity's reputation.

Luz is not popular, but she is known, by basically everyone.. However, I would not say she is popular. No one really thinks much about her.

She's kinda just, there.

Except for Amity. Amity thinks about Luz, probably more than anyone. Amity loves Luz. You can tell, unless you are Luz.

Luz is oblivious. Luz cannot tell how someone feels if it's love towards her. However, Luz can read people like a book, but somehow can't read Amity's feelings towards Luz.

So, Cleo is going to break them up. If Cleo breaks them up, she thinks she is doing good, well, at least for Luz.

Cleo knows damn well that she's not doing good for Amity herself. She may be doing good for her reputation, but that's it, but Cleo already knows that. Cleo doesn't care.

She wants Luz, all to herself, and only Luz.

Actually, I make it seem like Cleo loves Luz, but Cleo does not love Luz. Cleo just thinks Luz is her ideal type, she doesn't actually love her.

Cleo just wants love. That's what she's using Luz for. Luz is kind, sweet-hearted, very smily, energetic, comforting, and like I said, oblivious.

Luz will not be able to tell that Cleo is manipulating her.

And I have to do something about it, I'm the only one that can.

AMITY POV:

I wake up, stretching my arms and yawning. I feel very tired and jealous, and I don't know why. Why would I feel jealous when I just woke up?

Oh. Right.

Last night, Luz wouldn't stop talking about Cleo. Luz was talking about how she hopes to get closer with Cleo, and I noticed Luz's cheeks getting redder every time she mentioned Cleo's name.

Why am I jealous? Wait, why am I even asking myself that? I know damn well why I'm jealous. I love Luz, but she can't see that. Luz loves, no, likes, Cleo.

I wouldn't say love just yet. Cleo and Luz just met, like, 3 days ago? 4? I don't know. I've known Luz for about 4 and a half years.

I'm not saying Luz shouldn't like Cleo, well, maybe.. But I don't wanna be mean.. Luz should at least consider me.

Unless she doesn't love me like I love her.

Um, anyways. I need to check the time. I take my phone off of my nightstand and check the time. I read 6:00am. I still have time.

I begin to get ready.

LUZ POV:

I just finished getting ready, so I go to knock on Amity's door to see if she is ready.

I knock once and wait a second. No answer. I knock again and wait a little. Still, no answer. I knock one more time, just to make sure. I get no answer again.

I slowly open the door, and peek inside of Amity's room. I don't see her.. Strange.. Maybe she's already driving to school?

I don't know why she didn't tell me though.

LUZ POV:

I park into a spot, get out of my car, and begin walking up to the school gates.

I put the code in, and the gates begin to open.

I make my way inside the school, right when I walk in, I see Amity. She's talking with.. Luna?

I wonder why.. Me and Luna haven't really talked, but I do know that she is friends with Cleo. Apparently she's also very quiet.

Amity turns towards me. We make eye contact for a second, but it seems like forever. She turns back towards Luna, saying something and then walking off to, I'm guessing, class.

I go up to Luna. "What were you guys talking about," I ask, looking at Luna right in the eye.

"Nothing, it's not serious," Luna says back, getting some books out of her locker. "Are you sure? It seemed serious," I respond.

What I said was kinda a lie and kinda not. It didn't seem that serious, but more serious than me and Amity's conversations.

I didn't know Amity had deeper conversations with anyone but me. She's told me that I'm the only person she really opens up to.

"I'm sure, Luz. Now I have to go to class, I'll see you later," Luna says, waving at me and walking to her class.

a/n: this was kinda rushed which is surprising cuz it took like more than an hour to write😭😭

and it took me days to figure out what to make it about, i'm sorry☹️ i promise to be more consistent with writing in the future!! or i hope i will be..
