Miranda walked around the hospital getting ready to do her rounds. She was glad that everyone was sorta getting use to the merger. She felt like some doctors were adjusting well but others were not so much. A lot of them gave off entitled, arrogant and not really accepting of change. Which was sad, all of the people who were fired from Seattle Grace did not deserved to be replaced with those kind of people.

After her rounds Miranda went to go scrub in with Meredith. She had to resect Leslie Wilson's tumor and she was confident that it was an easy surgery.
Miranda scrubbed in and gowned up before the nurse's put her gloves on. She kept her hands up above the sterile line and she walked over to the operating table.

Miranda looked at the anesthesiologist standing as he got the drugs ready. She studied him a little and knew that he had to be from Mercy West. She had never seen him before. To be honest she really never saw any young black anesthesiologist there ever. Dr. Hudson was black but he was much older, close to Richard's age. Other than that the rest of the anesthesiologist were white males. Dr. Heller, Dr. Knox, who she used on a regular, Dr. Milton, who much people lost respect for when he walked out of the OR during the bomb. Miranda didn't blame him though, like the man said he had two children and a wife and a good man would want to stick around for that. Then there was Dr. Taylor, who was a drunk and was kicked out of the O.R. after George noticed he was impaired. Lastly, Dr. Lawson.

After Leslie was under, the anesthesiologist gave her the nod. Miranda called out 10 blade after she stepped on her step stool beside Meredith. She started the process to resecting the woman's abdominal wall tumor.

It took some time to get to the start of the tumor but Miranda and Meredith worked efficiently.

"I think we've almost got the tumor out, at this rate, we'll be finished early, Grey." Miranda started smiling underneath her mask. "You might be able to catch the end of Shepherd's big speech."

Meredith gave Miranda a smile as she looked over at her before looking back to the patient.

Ben listened through this surgery as the two surgeons talked back and forth. He honestly could say that he was upset about the merger at first but after working here for a few days, he has found many pros.  He looked back and forth at the surgeons again before looking back down and started reading through his clinical anesthesiology journal, it was recently published and Ben was excited to see new information on his specialty. He absentmindedly read when the monitor's loud beeping started.

Ben looked at the monitor on the side of him alertly. Closing the journal, he began grabbing the tools. Highly confused on what was wrong.

"She's tachycardic," Meredith announced.

"I don't understand what happened. Everything appears to be in order," Ben rushed out confused. He pushed metoprolo through the iv and looked at the monitor as he did so. Followed by that he gave the woman diltiazem and verapamil to try and restore a rate control of her heart but nothing was working. Why was her heart racing like she just finished running a marathon.

"There's-- there's no bleeders. I don't see any bleeders," Miranda announced searching inside the woman's open abdominal cavity with her hands. "Okay, I don't see a reason why down here. So why is her heart rate going through the roof?!" Miranda yelled glaring at Ben with harsh eyes.

"Did you check her anastomoses?" Meredith asked quickly

"Her anastomoses is intact! Everything is intact!" The cool and collected side of Miranda was long gone and she went into straight panic-mode. "What is--Wait, wait, wait. Did I just feel movement?" Miranda asked moving her hands suddenly, pausing to make sure her mind wasn't playing tricks on her and she wasn't going insane.
