"You start your residency in August. That gives us 3 and a half months to find a house." Miranda told him scrolling on her computer and looking at houses.
"We could always have one built."
"Yeah, but that would take longer. We can look for a newly built house though."
"How many bedrooms?" Ben asked.
"I'm thinking four. Just to have two guest bedrooms."
"Yeah, I like that." Ben agreed as he put that into the filter on the housing app. "Can we plan to be married by the end of December?"
"That's 6 months from now. We can't even agree on having a wedding." Miranda scuffed.
"Because there is nothing to agree on. We are having a wedding." Ben retorted.
"I don't want a wedding again. I want just a courthouse ceremony with just me and you and then a small suit and tie and gown party."
"You want a cocktail party instead of a wedding?" Ben questioned perplexed.
"Yesss" Miranda stressed, she really would prefer for them to just get married at the court, have dinner and then go on vacation together.
"Miranda I have never had a wedding before. You are the love of my life. My one true love. My only bride. I want to be able to see you in a wedding dress. I want to watch you walk down the aisle. I want everything that a weddinconsistsst of. I'll never get that opportunity again." Ben explained sincerely.
Miranda sighed he was right but she did not want to budge on it. "Fine a tiny wedding ceremony with just our closes friends and family and then a small reception."
"So you are saying we can have a wedding?"
"I'm saying a small ceremony, Benjamin. So don't get any big ideas."
Ben smiled at her before kissing her cheek. "Now come on let's put some houses on the list to see." She encouraged.
Miranda and Ben spent the whole day with their realtor. She showed them so many newly built homes and they didn't like any.
"Oh, it's even more beautiful in person."
"Yes, I love it too." The realtor chimed.
"It's a newly built 4 bedroom 3 bathroom spacious ranch home with Bonus Nursery/Office/Walk-in Is the perfect flex space. Lots of Lights & Glowing Hardwoods throughout the home. You’ll love the High Ceilings and 2nd Floor Laundry. Shall we take a look inside?"
"Yes." Ben nodded holding Miranda's hand.
"It's so beautiful!" Miranda marveled.
"Ohh babe I like the white but I think it would look prettier with light gray walls and a white trim."
"I like that too, I think it will go well with the hardwood floors."
"Oh the kitchen is nice and the stove is on the island," Miranda told Ben as she looked at the new appliances. She honestly was done looking at houses. This would be their 4th one but she was falling in love with this home.
"Okay, the garage is through this door. We can take a look in there and then I will show you the rooms, bathrooms, and backyard."
After looking around Miranda turned to Ben.
"I want this house, Benjamin."
"Me too I'm sold on this"
"Okay good because whew I'm tired of looking and I love this one."

I know, I am getting off early so I can be there to sign the papers...are we still going to dinner with your family?"
