I Gave You Everything {Markiplier X Reader}

You woke up. Your eyes fluttered open and you were instantly blinded by the brightness of the room.

"(Y/n)," You heard a male voice say. His voice was raspy and he sounded tired.

Who's (y/n)? You thought.

"Who are you?" You asked the man, frantically sitting up.

"Oh god," He muttered before falling into a fit of tears.

A few minutes of awkwardly watching the unknown man crying passed, then a nurse walked in the room.

You looked scared. The nurse began speaking.

"You're awake," The nurse stated. You nodded.

"I'll get the doctor, wait a few moments please."

Another minute or two passed before a doctor walked in the room.

"You got in a car crash. You've been asleep for three days," The doctor said, "Do you know your name?"

You shook your head, still frightened.

"You're (y/f/n) Fischbach," The doctor said, "You've lost your memory. This is your husband," The doctor pointed to the man.

"I-I'm Mark," The man.. Your husband... Mark said.

"You'll be going home with him later today," The doctor said.

You just looked from the doctor to Mark, and so forth, continuously.

"Okay," You said.

"I'll get you checked out. You're free to leave, just let the receptionist know."

Mark nodded, "Thank you."

The doctor nodded before leaving.

"Hi, (y/n)," Mark said to you.

"Hello, Mark," You whispered.

"We've been married for a little over five years. We have-we had a daughter named Lily," Mark said.

"What do you mean we had a daughter?" You asked him.

Mark took a bit to answer, "She died on the way to the hospital after the crash." He started to get emotional.

"How old was she?" You asked.

Mark had tears streaming down his face at this point, "S-She was only four."

You didn't say anything. You just sat in the hospital bed.

Thankfully you didn't have all that many injuries, other than bruises and scrapes and cuts, that had already been treated.

"Well, we're going home," Mark said, brokenly smiling.

When you got to Mark's house, he parked the car and you got out.

"Welcome home," Mark said.

You just nodded, then followed Mark inside.

"I'll show you around?" Mark asked.

"Yeah," You said, "I'd like that."

"Okay," Mark began, "This is the sitting room..."

He showed you around the whole house. Breaking into tears once again once he showed you Lily's room.

"And finally, our room," Mark showed you.

"This is a nice house," You commented.

"Yeah," Mark said, "Yeah it is."
