Katara's POV

I smile as I close the door, he is warming up to me. I go to my room and I lay on my bed and I cuddle up in my blankets. I am watching a movie until I hear a knock on my door.

"Yes? Come in" I say

My mom walks in and sits on the corner of my bed and looks at me with a face I can't really determine.

"Umm what's wrong mom" I asked

"Honey remember how you made him fee after you made that stupid party bet?" She asks me and and I nod "He is your brothers best friends and honey I love you but promise if you are trying to flirt with him do it because you want to not because you are doing to get something out of it from someone else." My mom tells me

"Mom I promise I actually like Aang, pardon my French but I was a bitch for what I did to him and now that I know him I relies he is more that the schools socially awkward kid who is best friends with my brother. It was not right for what I did but I really like him now and I am going to try and get with him, on my terms" I say to my mom who smiles

'Well I am glad, and I am gladder that you are not talking to the Jet kid, he was such a bad influence for you." We both laugh a bit "But I just want you to be happy" I smile and nod "Goodight honey" She kisses my forehead

"Night mama" I relax and she turns my light off and closes my door. I fall asleep thinking about Aang

Aang's POV

I walk through the door and my grandpa is sitting on the couch drinking tea.

"Hey gramps" I say and hang my coat up

"Hey bud, why did you get home so late" He says

"Sorry I was helping Katara study" I say and kick my shoes off

"For 5 hours" He says with a risen eyebrow "Bud I have seen you tutor, you are a super genius that can help within a hour maybe 2, but 5. You weren't  doing something else" He smiles

"Ew no nothing like that, we just talked...adtokanaptughter" I mumble the last part

"You what I couldn't pick that up, old ears" He smirks

"We took anptuger" I mumble again

"Hmmmmmmmm" he raises his eye brows in 'confusion'

"WE TOOK A NAP TOGETHER UGH" I say angrily

"HAHA why were you so nervous to just say that.....unless you did mo.." He says suspiciously

"NO, no we didn't do 'that' were not even together.....that was a friend nap" I say with a non convincing smile

"Sure a 'friend nap' you definitely don't like her, its ok bud, she likes you and you like her you should tell her how you feel" He tells me with a smile

"I mean I would but she hurt me last time, I am scared she would do it again" I said

"I get that but I think she has changed, just sleep on it ok, she really likes you from what I can see" He says and I nod

"Night gramp" I wave and he waves back "And thanks" I say and he smiles and I walk upstairs

I lay down in my bed and think about Katara before falling asleep

The next day

I wake up and I get a text

Katara: Morning sleepy head, you get a good nights rest

Me: Yeah I did u?

Katara: Yeah I had a good dream about you

Me: Me?

Katara: and sokka and suki sorry I forgot to text that too

Katara's POV

That was close

Aang's POV

Me: Oh lmao....there is something I want to tell you

Katara: Yeah?

Me: Well I wanna tell you to your face, wanna meet me at the park.

Katara: Ok but can I have a hint

Me: No but dress nicely

Katara: Ok? But how nice

Me: IDk just a pretty dress just meet me there at 12:00

Katara: Ok Ill get ready

I get off my bed and change into black jeans and a orange button down shirt with a white shirt under it so I don't button it up. I go to the kitchen where my grandpa is where he is drinking a coffee

"Hey don't you look nice, what is the occasion" He looks up at me

"I um am going to ask Katara to be my girlfriend" I smile and grab a picnic basket from under the fridge

"You are?" He says with a smile

"Yup, I am going to set up a picnic and get her some flowers and set it all up at the park" I say

He gets up from his chair and stands i front of me and fixes my collar

"Ill pack you guys fruits and veggies, go and grab a picnic blanket while I do this" grandpa says

I nod and get it and go down stairs and see a fully stocked basket "Thanks" He nods. I look at the time and it is 11:00

"Goodluck bud she will say yes" he says and I nod

I leave and get on my skateboard and ride it to the flower store and get a nice bouquet of roses. I head towards the park and set up the blanket and other things I grab the flowers and hide them behind my back and wait for her

I see her walking up and she sees me and waves and I wave back

"Hi" I say with a smile

"Hi, what is all of this" She asks, I pull out the flowers from behind me and give them to her "wow Aang there beautiful and smell amazing, but why did you do this" She smiles nod hugs me

"Oh um well" I hold her hands "Will you be my girlfriend"

Omg sorry for the long wait i would like to tell you i will update more often but we both know....that would be a fib...ok a lie but that doesn't mean I will stop but I hope you liked this chapter i won't end it next chapter but it will end sooner it won't be that long of a story I will it's this when this one ends but I still have others I can't wait to try and do other things.
