Hello Readers!

You've reached the end of "Moving In With The Enemy"!

Thank you so much for reading and bearing with me through the editing and publishing of this book! I know it took me quite a while to get it wrapped up but I hope you're (somewhat) happy with the book and results.

This is the first book I've written in over a year and I've enjoyed going back to the publishing and writing.

Thank you to anyone who votes or comments on my chapters, I always appreciate feedback from readers and seeing that people are interacting is incredible.

This story is about so much more than a college romance, relationships in your twenties are incredibly difficult and I wanted this story to reflect that not all of them come easy. But I wanted things to end well, I know I put your faith to the test with all of the back and forth, but I hope the end has made up for that :).

I'm genuinely so touched by the reads on this book, it's just reached a little over 2k and I'm happy with that. It's the first book outside of the 'Ice Queen' series that I've released in a while and seeing that it's still popular is genuinely amazing to me.

I appreciate you all for giving my book a read, you're all awesome!!!!

Last but not least: I've made a small playlist for this story too, not sure if anyone enjoys these, but these songs make me think of specific moments in this story!

Moving In With The Enemy Playlist

Suddenly I See~ KT Tunstall
I see this as the opening song for Annie in this story, it's a song about feeling invincible and pushing through. Annie is a very strong lady, she keeps her schedule full and always has her life together. This song accompanies her taking the bus and heading to the apartment with Caleb, ready to make a firm adult choice.

Love~ Lana Del Ray
I felt that this was a perfect 'first look' song, it's powerful and full, especially at the chorus and it's meant to sum up the feeling of being young and in love.

I Wanna Be Yours~ Arctic Monkeys
This is the perfect song for Walker in this story, I just can't think of anything better. The whole first part of this book is about how badly he wants to be with Annie, but just can't. We know after reading this story that Walker felt that way for a very long time, as long as he'd known her.

Night Crawling~ Miley Cyrus ft. Billy Idol
I tried hard to find the right song to strike the tone of petty fighting and eye-rolling, and this was the best fit in my opinion. It really fits that back-and-forth thing that Annie and Walker have going for the first few chapters, about how sometimes they give in, but it's all mixed up with complicated feelings.

Praise You~ Fatboy Slim
This is the frat house song, the song I pictured when Annie steps out and proves Piper wrong. It just feels like walking in slow-motion to me.

Something In The Orange~ Zach Bryan
What can I say? This is such a perfect song for the night Annie comes back from her rescue at the pool, it's about feeling such a want and love for someone, but as often as you keep telling yourself that you're done, something always pulls you back in. This night is truly a turning point for them.

Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby~ Cigarettes After Sex
This is what I decided should underline their first kiss, as messy and imperfect as it was, it was also a crucial moment for the story. Because it sounds intense, just like the feelings exchanged in that moment. But the words, in my opinion, are what Walker truly believed in that moment while kissing Annie, Nothing's Gonna Hurt You.

Love Me Back~ Bebe Stockwell
This song I chose for the conversation that happens after Annie's horrible weekend and honours presentation. When Walker actually admits that he has real feelings for her, but that he can't start anything with Annie. The words are just *chefs kiss* perfect, "I know you like romance, but I'm not one for holding hands", "Even if I've been distant in the past, would you love me back?"

See Through- The Band CAMINO
I chose this one for that time in between when Annie dates Dane and everything is a mess between her and Walker. When she and he still talk and Annie still chooses Walker over Dane, but Walker knows that he's given her up. The song strikes the tone of wanting someone who's with someone else, which I think is fitting for Walker.

I Love You So~ The Walters
This song is for when Walker helps Annie with her broken heart, how he does loads of nice things for her and says they're 'no big deal' even though it's clear that he feels for her.

There's Still A Light In The House~ Valley
What a perfect song to adventure around New York to, it's completely uplifting as a song and it accompanies the section of the book when they actually bond and start to enjoy spending time together.

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic~ The Police
I chose this song for when Walker comes clean, it can seem like a strange choice but the words are perfect. About trying to tell someone your feelings, but losing the nerve to do it over and over, but about how Annie feels too absorbing to him.

I Don't Wanna Live Forever~ Taylor Swift, ZAYN
I picked this as the conflict song for this part of the book. It feels like the message of love being all-consuming comes through, but wanting them to come back. It's on Annie's part with wanting Walker to come back, but also on Walker's when Annie wants nothing to do with him.

All The Pretty Girls~ KALEO
I picked this as the song for Walker and Annie during their difficult period when they keep it all secret, they want nothing more than to be together, but the song eludes to what you want not always being perfect and how life's not fair.

How You Get The Girl~ Taylor Swift
This is the coming home song when Walker visits Annie, when all of their mess can be put aside for his visit and how Annie feels when he's with her.

Remember That Night~ Sara Kays
All good things come to an end, another bad fight puts Annie and Walker on a break. Annie wants to screw her head on right, but she's stuck on their fight and how difficult it was. It reminds her of laying on the bathroom floor, feeling alone and out of the loop again, but that she's fighting those feelings because she's fallen in love with Walker.

Angel Of Small Death and The Codeine Scene~ Hozier
This is the song for Annie and Walker's complicated reunion before Annie leaves for Northwestern. The build and the song slowly grows faster which I think compliments their feelings in that scene.

Kids~ Current Joys
This song is for the chapter right after, when Walker finally lets Annie all the way in. When they both realize that maybe they rushed into their relationship, even though the feelings are there, he's willing to give her space. It's about making mistakes and putting your heart into things before your head.

I Hear a Symphony~ Cody Fry
This is the I love you song. How could it not be? It's just so perfect for both of them, Walker never pictured caring for anyone like he does for Annie, and Annie wasn't prepared to fall in love before Walker. Both of them thought they knew themselves and what they wanted until they found each other.

Carolina~ Harry Styles
I wasn't sure exactly what song to use for when Piper is confronted by Annie and Walker after they're both home again and they go public. But I decided on girlboss power walk vibes, and this song....I feel like it's perfect for Annie and Walker "Got a book for every situation, gets into parties without invitations", "How would I tell her that she's all I think about?"

Happy Accidents~ Saint Motel
This is for the chapter when Annie tells Walker about her faith in him, that he's her something. I chose this song because I think its lyrics match up perfectly once again "Ever think what if we never met? You love me, but you don't know it yet?"

Brand New~ Ben Rector
I wanted a perfect uplifting song for the end of this book, when all of their friends come around, Piper is kicked out, Walker gives Annie that perfect necklace and tells her that he'll always love her. It's about how spending time with someone makes you feel brand new, how it makes your heart skip and you feel alive.

You Make Loving Fun~ Fleetwood Mac
This is my epilogue song, it's just perfect for the two of them. How they always make each others' days better how happy they are together. It's the right mix of love, but fun at the same time. It's perfect for the sincere adorable end to this book.

Thanks again for reading, you're all seriously the best. Be kind, take care of yourselves and keep your eyes peeled for my next book ;) (It'll be much less of a wait than it was for this one)

Much love
