"Would you prefer to die?"
"Bring your best." Kozue taunted as she got into a defensive stance.
'Oh no, I need to stop this. But what can I do against a gang as powerful as them?' Mitsuya thought helplessly. He thought to call Mikey, but then remembered that would be a bad idea for Kozue. Then in his mess of thoughts dropped his phone and it slid down the bank into the water.
'Great!'
"Don't be so hasty now." The woman's voice echoed and Mitsuya froze.
'Oh no, have I been found out?'
"I'd like to strike a bargain."
"Are you crazy?" Kozue seethed, though it only seemed to amuse the woman.
"We will promise to leave Japan forever. Leave your mother and friends alone for good... if..."
"If what?"
"So impatient young one." The woman hummed as she waved a taunting finger at the younger girl.
"Just get on with it." Kozue hissed.
"If you come back to the States with me."
Mitsuya was baffled.
'No, no way she would agree to that, right?'
"And before you say anything, might I just remind you that there are men watching your precious love and your mother right now. So, if you pull anything..."
The silver haired boy watched Kozue ball her hands tightly into fists, so tightly he knew exactly what she was going to say.
"If I agree, you can never come back, and they can never be harmed, or watched." Kozue said quickly and Mitsuya's heart began beating faster. "Those are my terms."
"You have my word." The woman said extending her hand and Kozue stepped forward, sealing the deal with her own.
"Deal."
"We will need to make arrangements of your death, that way no one will expect you've left, and they will all be none the wiser."
"What?" Kozue exasperated at the same time Mitsuya thought it. She would leave to protect them of course, but them thinking she was dead... she didn't want that. She knew how painful it was to deal with it, and she could only imagine the heartbreak her mother would go through, she would be all alone.
