From what Elle had heard, Dwight was sitting in a small cell below one of the buildings in Alexandria the previous night, claiming to want to help Rick's group in fighting against Negan. Of course, they didn't believe him.

It had been a few days, and Paul had made his way back to Hilltop to talk to Maggie and Enid about everything while everyone else stayed in Alexandria to prepare. Rick had made a deal with another group that occupied a landfill, they agreed to help at a cost. Elle didn't care too much about the deal, as long as they had more people.

The gates of Alexandria had been opened as people drove in on bikes and in multiple garbage trucks. These people wore dirty, black clothes and their hair was greasy and filthy. As the garbage trucks pulled to a stop, people began climbing out of the back of them, carrying guns. One woman stood out in particular, she was one of the tallest and slimmest of the group, and wore a long coat with a short bob. Her name was Jadis.

"Hey, help bring these up." Someone said from behind Elle. She turned around to see Tara handing her some guns to bring up to the platform along the wall. Nodding, Elle took the weapons, using the straps to wrap as many around her body as she could so she would be able to climb the ladder.

Rosita, Aaron, and Daryl were currently rigging explosives in a truck just outside the walls. With the help of Dwight, who was actually telling the truth, was feeding Rick's group information about the Saviors approach and plans. Michonne was up on the roof of a tall building with one of Jadis's women, reprising her role as a sniper.

The time was quickly approaching as many people began climbing up onto the platform. Elle took her position, Carl on her left, one of Jadis's men on her right. Adjusting her gun, she took a deep breath. "We'll be okay." Carl whispered from her side. She looked up to see him giving her a small smile, which she kindly returned.

"I know." She breathed turning towards the direction in which vehicles were approaching. Carl gave her arm a light squeeze before they both began to focus.

"All points are covered." A voice came over a megaphone. Anger took over everyone's expressions as the recognized the voice to be Eugene. "Every contingency is already met. I come armed with two barrels of the truth. A test is upon you, and I'm giving out the cheat sheet." Eugene announced as the trucks pulled to a stop.

"What the hell is he doing?" Carl hissed.

"What a pussy move." Elle wishes she could say she was surprised. The truck Eugene stood on the back of had something strapped to the back of it. There was a cloth over it, but it was so obviously a coffin.

"Hello," Eugene stuttered as he was now face to face with Rick. "I come salved with the hope that it is my dropped knowledge that you heed."

"When will he ever talk normally?" Elle muttered as she tightened her grip on her weapon.

"Options are zero to none. Compliance and fealty are your only escape. Bottom-lining it, you may thrive, or you may die. I sincerely wish for the former, for everyone's sake. The jig is up and in full effect." He paused, his breathing heavy. "Will you comply, Rick?"

Everyone turned to look at the mentioned man, waiting for his response. Rick looked more pissed off than anybody else, which means he was pretty pissed off. "Where's Negan?" He asked, dodging Eugene's question. Eugene out the megaphone down to his side.

"I'm Negan." He didn't need the megaphone for everyone to hear that one statement. Rick closed his eyes and took a breath, successfully stopping the urge to do something completely stupid. He turned to Rosita and gave her a signal. Rosita nodded and Rick quickly ducked, along with everyone else on the platform, waiting for the explosion to go off. Nobody knew what had happened, but suddenly Jadis's people had guns pointed and Rick's people.
