Wedding preparations had begun swiftly. The king and queen announcing the couple would be married within the next moon. This meant endless meetings, fittings and formalities had to be attended by both Aegon and Danera, none of which they were overly interested in.

They had spent most nights together over the past couple of weeks, never going further than a long makeout session. Although Danera had explain to Aegon she was happy to go further, he did not want to take her before he could call her his wife.

That day, they finally had time off together, to do what they pleased. "Good morning my love" Danera woke up first, kissing Aegon on the forehead and resting herself upon his chest. He mumbled a good morning, putting his arm around her and to feel her closer. As much as I am happy to spend the morning in bed with you, I would like to do something today. "Mhm" Aegon, still barely awake, gave a murmur of response. They stayed cuddled together for the next few minutes while Aegon woke up, Danera slightly restless. She sat up, kissing all over his face, trying to get some attention out of her betrothed. "Someone's eager this morning" he smiled, opening his eyes and kissing her back. "Mmm" she mumbled against his lips. As she kissed him, she moved her hand down to his undergarments, gently running her fingers back and forth across his chest. Aegon gave a slight moan, Danera smiled and moved her hand further down, feeling that he was already hard. Although she was inexperienced, she did what felt right, trying to please Aegon. He continued to moan into the kiss. She moved her hand, settling herself on his lap, grinding into him. Aegon looked up at her, grabbing her hips to guide her gently. They both moaned in sync, wanting more. He then grabbed her hips firmly, stopping her motions. "No more my love, I won't be able to stop myself" he said, seriously. "Maybe I don't want you to stop" she smirked at him. "As much as I would love to take you here and now, we only have to wait one more week, I think we can both survive that" he said, stroking her face. He wanted to do things properly with Danera, he was a different person now, and he was going to prove that to everyone, himself included. If he gave in to the moment, in his mind, he would just be going a step back. Taking her before she was truly his, before their wedding night. Danera stopped, a slightly unhappy and needy look on her face. He caressed her cheek, feeling bad about upsetting her. "What would you like to do today, my love" he asked, trying to change the subject. Danera flopped down next to him, thinking. "Something different, I am so bored of our scheduled days, full of preparations and protocols, I miss the excitement of the castle" she replied, sighing and turning back to Aegon. He thought for a moment, looking away from her. Swiftly, he got out of bed, chucking on his undershirt and trousers. "I'll meet you back here in an hour, wear something plain, and a large cloak" Aegon said, clearly coming up with a plan of some kind. He kissed her forehead and left to his own chambers.

An hour later, as promised, Danera was ready. She wore a plain purple dress, with a large black cloak. Unless you knew she were a princess, you couldn't tell. Aegon slipped into her room quietly, sneaking up behind her and snaking his arms around her waist. "Perfect" he said, kissing her neck. She smiled at him in the mirror. "Are you going to tell me what we're doing then?" She asked. Like Danera, Aegon wore plain clothing, nothing like his usual black and gold tunics. "You will see" he replied, taking her hand. Danera noticed a dagger held in his belt, where the hell would they be going that he required a dagger? Aegon pulled her to the secret passage they used to go between rooms at night. They had not been this far before though, coming across a small staircase. Leading out of the castle, onto a balcony, only leading to another long staircase.

Once they had reached the bottom, they found themselves outside the castle walls. Aegon held her close, slightly concerned that this wasn't the right decision. "I assume this is how you used to escape the castle?" She asked, barley louder than a whisper. "Yes" he replied, paying more attention to getting them through the streets. The further into the city they got, the busier the hustle and bustle became.
