Walk in the park

Mia POV

Making my way to Manny I cried so bad. My head was hurting as I pulled up to the park in the neighborhood. I found him out of everybody he was shooting hoops with his boys.

Walking up to him he turned and looked my way. Then walked up to me and grabbed me in his arms. "Cmon baby let's take a walk. He grabbed my hand as we begun to walk.

Looking straight ahead we walked hand in hand. "Baby what happened?" "All I was trying to do was talk to her. She blocked me out."

"Its okay baby she might need time to her self. You guys are always together. Mia you know how you get sometimes. Just let her do her thing."

I pouted and swung our hands back and forth. "Yeah maybe i just feel them girls taking away my best friend." "Bay chill out nobody can ever do that."

"She likes them more than me. The whole time we were there she was texting them. It was like she was mocking me."

"Look baby its okay. You got me your man. Forget that and focus on you boo. Itll be okay you got to let it go." Manny said.

My head was pounding and i was just over it. Calling ivy i told her to meet me at the park. She came and we sat at the panic table.

She sat down and flipped her big hat back. It was hot out. She had some shades on to. Ivy think she be killing it but she do though. "You look cute." I said.

"Thanks baby whats wrong?" "Its brook." "Oh my god please tell me you two didnt fall out?" I wonted to lie because i knew ivy wouldnt wont to be in the middle.

As we said we dont pick sides or jump in others feul of fire. Ivy sat looking at me like honey say something now. "No we just couldnt come to agreement." I semi lied.

"Okay about what?" Ivy said. "So we sat down for lunch and i started off asking devin was good. She quickly shoot me down."

"Right." Ivy said. "So i asked how she was and it turned into a yell match afterwards." "No your lying?" "I wish i was. It was not cute people were staring at us."

"You right thats not cute at all mia. Listen to me mia. Some things we just cannot control. Brook is going through somethings of her own right now."

"We all know you mean well but, you got to learn how to back off sometimes and give a person some space. You and brook have been friends longer than i."

"Okay so that means yall know each other well. Just leave it alone mia." "Okay i get it but damn im just worried about her." "Its okay to be did you get my text?"

"Yes ivy and she was sitting right next to me." Damn i thought. My bestie has gotten herself knocked up by some wannabe thug. I huffed and puffed but that was useless.

"So how devin cousin get your number?" "She left her trac phone at their house. The same house we picked her up from that morning. Remember?"  Ivy said.

"Yeah i remember it. Oh okay i guess i should just drop it. So how are you and mario?" "Were doing just fine. I dont wont to jinx it so i dont talk about him a lot."

"Yeah i get it girl." "Your man is over there mia. Dont neglect him in hopes of trying to make somebody else happy. Make yourself happy first."

Ivy stood up and hugged me. "I love you girl be easy okay." Ivy said. "Love you to see you later." Ivy left with mario as i sat back down.

Manny had finally finished playing ball. I drove him to his house. I hate being in his house. Its his mom fault she is just too damn much for me. I sat on the love seat in his room as he showered.

Sitting there in deep thought he was finally done. Grabbing his phone he told me his about to call his dad and for me to wait. Moments later i heard the front door slam.

Rolling my eyes i knew what time it was. "Manny! Manny!" His mama yelled. Oh my god why she so damn loud though. I could hear her coming towards his room.

She opened the door and saw me sitting there on my phone. "What you doing in my house and where is my hard headed ass son at?"

Manny came up to the door on his phone. "Whats up mama?" "Why the hell this little girl in my house while im not here? I thought i told you was allowed to have no hot in the ass girl in my house without my permission."

"We about to go." "Yeah i know she is but where you think you going?" "Ill be back i got to see that she makes it home." "I guess so and dont let it happen again manny." She said.

We got in my car and he told me to take him to where i went and picked him up one time. Im good at remembering places so i followed his command.

When we pulled up he got out and told me to wait. Sitting there i looked around the apartments. It looked so damn ratchet. Locking my doors i watched my surroundings.

Looking around i noticed manny walking back up to the car. On my side of the car i rolled down the window and looked at him. "Yeah bay?" "I got some to do ill follow you to make sure you get home safe."

When i say my head was pounding it was massive. Agreeing i didnt ask no questions i just drove home. Making it there manny got out the car with some guy.

He kissed my lips and hugged me tight. "I love you baby." He said before running to the car and pulled off.
