My classes were going along just fine. Ashley was super sweet and I can say things have been going pretty smooth. My foster mom has been crying for days and I'm glad to get out the house for school every morning.

I'm so glad my paper is done so I have time to just relax. Wrong I got to class super early thinking I'm going to kick back and text Ashley.

Looking at the board I saw this crazy weird assignment.

Today in class we're going to be doing this project.
It's a cool way to do an icebreaker and get to know your fellow classmates. There are a lists of things you must complete to get your grade.
Reminder this isn't an easy A so take it seriously this count as a test grade.
•Pair up with your assigned partner.
•Write letters (For two weeks)
•Pick your own topics to talk about.
• Do a summary of your partner.
•Presentation will complete your project.
This grade is a test grade again and a major grade for your first report card. I advise you all take it serious.

As more students come in they sit and look at the board. Some people were complaining and very bitchy about it. The teacher didn't talk for a while. She just sat there and listened to them whin.

She also seemed unbrothered about the bickering. They were all jokes. Scared that their reputation will be ruined by a fellow classmate. Rolling my eyes I wondered if she would speak up.

Then some boy raised his hand. "Hey is this pretaining to a story or something. Or for personal entertainment because unlike other people I have a thing called rep."

I laughed that was pretty open and others amen to his response. Then the teacher stood up on her feet. In front of the board she looked at it. "Class settle down."

The class went slient. "Now that we've moved on from your first big paper on hamlet this assigment is to keep you on your toes."

She reached for her roll and fixed her glasses. "Now this will help us again with future assignments. Don't have poor judgment my tactics are good. I've gone to school and graducated for this spot."

She sounded pretty serious as she looked at everyone in the class.

"Now regradless of how you feel personally the assigment stands. I'll be passing out a paper with another students name on it. You are to find out who got your paper and pair up."

She passed out the papers. I got a paper and oh hell no my partner is Manny. Taking a deep breath I kept my head forward. The teacher then told us who had a paper to go to our partner.

I walked over to Manny and sat next to him as others did the same. "Okay class where your sitting today would become your assigned seats for the next two weeks."

Great that sucks and the bell rings. Making my way to Ashley locker someone grabbed my arm. Looking back it was Mia.

What the hell she want. If it's about her man I could careless how she feel. With a fake smile I needed this to be over quick.

"Hey Raven." "Hello Mia. I'm kind of in a rush." I said. "Oh I won't hold you long promise." "Okay shoot." I said. "Listen whatever you and Manny decide on topic wise is fine by me." "Okay." I said confused.

"No but, listen just don't talk about relationships. That's all." She said. "Okay Mia got it." Who was she to tell me that? Of course I don't want to be talking to him about relationships.

Whose to say he hate gay girls. Anyways blowing it off I meet Ashley. She stood by the vending machine talking. Once she saw me she grabbed me. "Hey baby you good?" She asked.

"Yeah I'm good. What's up?" I asked her. "I want you to come out with me." Ashley said smiling. "When?" I asked. "Tonight." "Where?" I asked. "The seniors are having a pizza night you down?" "Im not a senior." I said nervous.

"Okay and I'm your senior girlfriend. Who is inviting you trust me nobody not going to say shit to you if you with me." Ashley said. "You sure baby?" "Im sure babe so is it a yes?" Ashley asked again smiling.

"I'll call you and let you know." I said. "Alright that's fine." She kissed my cheek and walked off. I have a date yes but I'm nervous as hell.

I needed some to get my mind off that whack project. Going home I noticed another car in the driveway along with my foster moms. Inside I heard talking.

Going into the living room I saw a boy who I figured was Pierre and some chick. "Thank you again Clare for seeing that Pierre arrive safely." My foster mom said to the lady. "No problem bye Pierre good luck."

Pierre looked pissed out of his mind. I could tell he did not want to be here that makes two of us. My foster mom gets up and fix her clothes.

"Raven you are responsible for seeing that Pierre has everything he needs. You are to get to know your cousin nothing more. So if you had plans cancel them. This is far more important than anything else."

Unlike her nerves this was not important to me at all. This is her responsibility not mines is she serious? She walked out as I felt awarkard as hell. "You don't gotta help me."

Pierre said looking mean at me. "What? No yes I do it's my duty to see that you get comfortable." I said. "I'll never in my life." I didn't know what to say.

"I'm sure you will nothing last forever." I said trying to be nice. "Except pain some you'll never feel." What do he know about me not feeling pain. My life is not peachy sweet.

"Cmon don't judge me Pierre I've had my share of pain throughout my years." "Yeah right don't look like it." He said with a slight chuckle. "As you may know looks can be deceiving." I said.

"You right about that but seriously I'm warning you girl don't help me. Nothing good can come from me. I'm bad news so please just stay out my way and I'll do the same." He said.

"Fine. But let me first show you your room." Going upstairs I showed him his room. It was across the hall from mines. "There you are okay I'm leaving you alone now."

Thanks for standing me up. Eating pizza alone is great by the way.

I tried calling her back but no luck. Oh my god can this week get any worse?
