"I'm going to miss you." Coach L dragged hugging me and I smiled "I know y'all ain't gone ever find nobody better than me." I shrugged and her and Coach J busted out laughing.
"Girl bye, go get the girls out of the locker room." Coach J told me and I nodded "IF YALL ARE DONE GETTING DRESSED GET ON THE COURT NEOW!" I yelled peaking my head into the Locker room "Imma miss my locker so much." I pouted walking back over to the coaches.
Currently I was at school helping Coach J and Coach L with picking girls for next year.
Yes, tryouts are during the summer but after every basketball season they take all the girls who wanna play basketball for the next year and train them up until tryout time, cause some of them never played basketball a day in their life.
"Go ahead." Coach J waved me off and I smiled "OKAY!" I yelled causing everyone to look my way and I quickly counted everyone in my head "SO since it's only thirty of y'all imma need 15 on this side and the other 15 on this side."
"First y'all are going to do layups! Half on that side half on that side one person runs up with the ball the other person follow the person on the right throws the layup in and the other grabs the rebound.. understand?" I questioned.
"Hey." This one girl said raising her hand "Can you further explain?"
"Alright." I said walking over to the basketball rack I pulled it to the three point line "15 over there 15 over here." I said in a Duh tone and they moved "Alright so.. you stand right there." I pointed at a random girl and she stood where I told her to.
"Okay so there is going to be a line behind her and a line behind me, the side I'm on has a basketball." I said holding the basketball up "I run and make a layup." I said running towards the hoop "You follow me." I said to the girl "And once I make my layup, I get in the line she was in and she grabs the rebound and throws it to the next person in the line with the balls, and she gets in that line and the next two people go.. get it?" I questioned looking around and some girl raised her hand.
"Yes?"
"So 15 on that side and 15 on that side?" She questioned "No, 15 on that side of the court and 15 on this side but y'all are doing the same thing on both sides." I said and she nodded.
