"Okay, thank you." I said and the man nodded causing me to close and lock the door "Thank you." Mikey mocked me causing me to turn around and mug him "Shut up."
"Why you talk so white?" He questioned and I ignored him picking up one of the boxes that the man had just delivered and took it into my room "Dejah." He called out.
"You don't hear me talking to you?" He questioned looking at me as I walked back into the kitchen area grabbing the second box "Dejah."
"I hear you." I scrunched up my face tossing the box down onto the floor "Then reply to me." He shrugged and I blankly looked at him "Are you going to help me or you just gone continue talking and not get a reply?"
"Everytime I try to help you with some you say you don't want my help." He shrugged "Well I'm asking so.." I trailed off mugging him and he scrunched up his face "You mad or something?"
"I'm not mad."
"Then what's wrong with you?" His eyebrows furrowed and I sighed before grabbing my phone off of the island looking at the time before setting it back down "I'm irritated. I don't wanna live here."
"Why you ain't tell yo parents that before you signed the lease?"
"Because I like it- it's very spacious and meets all of my requirements, I'm just not ready to live alone like I just turned eighteen 5 months ago, and then graduated 3 months after that."
"At first I was ready to move down here and all that but now that I'm here it just seems too real. Like I'm really finna be living by myself for the next couple of years, and I'm not ready for that."
"So the apartment not the problem you just don't wanna be here by yourself?" He questioned and I nodded "I'll stay here with you." He shrugged "You gone have to leave eventually."
"Ian gotta leave."
"How you not gone leave?" I stared at him "I'll just fly back and forward whenever we have games, and switch all my classes to online."
"You ain't gotta do that." I shook my head "I'll be fine, imma get over it eventually."
"I wasn't asking." He said and I tilted my head to the side "How you gone do that and you already paid for the condo?"
"I'll sell that bitch, ion give a fuck. If youn wanna stay here by yoself imma stay with you. I'm not gonna leave you here by yourself and you fall back into a depression and start doing that starving shit again." He shrugged "You ain't gotta stay with me. I don't want you to miss out on the college experience and bonding with your teammates just because you looking out for me."
