"Come on y'all! It's 8:30 I said to be on the court at 8:30 when does practice start!?" Coach Banghart yelled entering the locker room causing all of the girls to immediately hop up and I laughed before I finished tying my shoes "WHEN DOES PRACTICE START!?"
"8:30." Ariel spoke up "Exactly! So y'all should've been on the court at 8:30 not 8:31 or 8:32! Get there NOW!" Her voice boomed aloud before she left out of the locker room .
"Oop." Ken eyebrows scrunched together "Y'all know our first game next Monday that's why she acting like that. Let's just hurry up and go on the court before Coach White come in." Ariel said to us causing us all to leave out of the locker room.
"THREE LAPS AROUND THE COURT & THEN WARM UPS LETS GO!" Coach B clapped causing us all to take off and begin running around the court.
& if we being honest those lil 3 laps weren't punishment at all cause let it had been a Saturday & Coach White was leading practice? Baby she would've had us running around the whole athletic department.
After we finished our three laps we went to our stretching spots and began doing stretches, and by the time we were done Wynter had went and grabbed the basketballs so that we could start warm ups.
"Are we doing the traditional?" Ariel looked at Coach B as we met in the middle of the court "Yes, we have a lot to go over in a short amount of time so let's do line layups & then we'll start." She told her before she went back talking to Coach White.
"Okay y'all heard her let's go!"
"I should've stayed at home." I shook my head getting in line behind Anya "Gir- didn't you have training before this?"
"Yep." I nodded watching as Malu threw the ball up to the backboard before she ran to get to the back of the line causing Chrisean who was behind her to grab the ball and throw it up to the backboard and run to the back of the line & that went on & on & on & on before the whistle blew for us to stop.
"Nya!" Coach White yelled "Why you wearing crocs?"
"Bye." Maria laughed and I pushed her shoulder "You better stop."
"I didn't think we were going to be doing much." Nya shrugged and Coach B furrowed her eyebrows "Our first game is next week on this exact day and you didn't think we were going to be doing much? Go change into your shoes." Coach B held her hand up not even waiting to hear a reply.
