"What section y'all in?" I asked my dad over the phone as I walked into the restaurant "Turn to the right and head to the back."
"Okay." I said before I hung up the phone and followed his direction until I made it to the table.
Right now I was meeting up with my parents + Bree for brunch so that we could "talk" and sort out our problems.
I didn't even know Bree was here until my dad told me after the game. He said she wanted to come to the game, but she didn't want me to see her in the bleachers and get mad and throw my game off.
Crazy of her to think she'll have that much of an effect on me, but anyways.
We won the game 101-45 I dropped 30 points would've dropped more but I didn't play as much as I wanted... and yeah.
First game of the season was all I was waiting for & more although I wish I would've played more but, I didn't.
"I can't believe you actually cut your hair." Bree spoke up as I sat down in the booth beside her since it was the only available seat.
They knew what they were doing...
"Yup." I nodded before I opened the menu looking down at it to see what I wanted "You look pretty." My mom stated and I nodded "Thank you."
Believe it or not. This is her first time saying anything to me since she's been here. Crazy right?
"You know what u want?" She questioned and I just nodded "Good. Let's have a well-avoided conversation."
"About what?" I finally looked up at her before I glanced at my phone seeing that Mikey was calling me causing me to sigh before I pressed the volume down button.
"I know I haven't been in your life much since you've left for college and I really want to apologize for that. I know you've needed me multiple of times and I haven't been there for you and I just want to really apologize to you because you're my daughter and I don't want us to always have a bad relationship, I don't want you to feel like you can't come and talk to me because you don't know how I'll respond or react."
