"It's hot as hell out here." Dejah scrunched up her face putting her hand up to block the sunlight from hitting her face "You'll be alright." I waved her off and she mugged me.
"Hush." She said coming to walk alongside me as she slid her phone into her back pocket.
We had just pulled up to the San Diego Carnival that had opened up yesterday. "I hope it's not a lot of people here." She mumbled scratching her head "It's a Carnival." I said and she shrugged "and Its Saturday." I added
"Okay they could've decided to stay home." She shrugged "Look at all the cars. It's a lot of people here." I pointed out and she smacked her lips grabbing my arm "Come on. I want a bear." She said pulling me to one of the booths "Oh you gone win you one?" I Joked.
"No you gone win me one and if you don't you gone buy me one." She smiled at me before pushing me to the front of the booth. "I don't know who the fuck she think she running." I mumbled to myself handing the woman that was in charge of the booth a five dollar bill "Here you go!" She smiled at me giving me the rings to throw on the bottles.
I picked up all three rings and tossed them onto the bottles only getting two instead of three "Good try, try ag- the lady was cut off by dej putting another five on the counter "Go again."
"Calm down." I looked at her "What? I want a bear." She tilted her head to the side and I just ignored her and grabbed the three rings tossing them onto the bottles and this time all three of em went around the bottles "Congratulations! What bear would you like?"
"Wha- give me the colorful one with the horn at the top." Dejah said and she nodded grabbing the bear giving it to her and she squealed grabbing my hand pulling me away from the booth "This is so cute!"
"It's not that serious." I glanced at her and she mugged me "Yes it is I've always wanted one of these." She smiled walking infront of me causing me to stop walking and she turned around and wrapped her arms around my neck pecking my lips twice "Love youuu." She dragged smiling at me causing me to chuckle a little "I love you too."
"Where we going nex- let's get on that ride." I pointed and she looked at where I was pointing and looked back at me with a raised eyebrow "You know I don't do rollercoasters."
"It's not a rollercoaster we at a city carnival." I said and she sighed "Let's go, but if I pass out don't say nothing." She held her hands up "You not it don't even look that exotic." I shook my head leading her towards the ride and she followed close behind me.
