"Hurry up Bruh." Mikey mumbled causing me to laugh as I picked up some more sand and threw it ontop of him "Okay I'm done." I said standing up grabbing my phone "Let me take a picture."

"Hurry up its hot." He mugged me and I busted out laughing "De- okay." I said tossing my phone down on the ground before I grabbed the plastic shovel and started removing the sand from off of his body "Ion even know why I agreed to this stupid shi."

"You good?" I furrowed my eyebrows "Nah you got this hot ass sand on me and shit finna burn me alive hurry up."

"You should've said it was hot when I started putting it on you." I stated "It won't hot then Dej!"

"Okay- stop yelling at me." I slightly scrunched up my face trying my best to hurry and get all the sand off of him, but when I got most off he just got up and dusted himself off before he began walking towards the ocean causing my eyebrows to furrow.

"Where you going!?" I called out and he didn't say anything but turned around a few seconds later "You coming or not?"

"Nigga ain't even tell me where he was going." I mumbled grabbing my phone off of the beach towel before I followed him to the ocean "Unt Unt." I pulled my arm back as he tried to pull me into the water "What?"

"You be trying to go too deep." I shook my head "I'm not come here." He stated grabbing onto my arm pulling me into the water "You know how to swim?"

"A little." I shook my hand side to side and he just looked at me "What you mean a little?"

"Like I can swim in the pool .. but ion know about in the ocean that's just too deep."

"Oh Igh we Finna see." He mumbled and I mugged him causing him to bust out laughing "I'm just playing come on."

"Where are we going?? I don't wanna go all the way out there." I stated pulling my hair up into a bun cause being in the hot sun + having hair all this hair in my face is not pleasant.

"We ain't goin out there I'm just tryna get cool." He responded and I nodded pulling my hand back from his hold so that I could fix my top "I should've put on sunscreen."

"Why you didn't?"

"Cause Ian think we was gone be in the sun like this." I mumbled "Can we get some food or some?"

"You hungry?"

"Yes.. actually nvm I'm Finna go to that stand over there." I said and he nodded "You want me to come with you?"

"No, I'm good." I shook my head turning around before I was being pulled back "Go put on that cover up."

"Why- because I said so." He said and I just looked at him before I turned back around and started walking towards the concession stands.

What's going to happen if I don't put on the cover up??

"Hey, What would you like?" The lady at the stand asked causing me to grab one of the small menus off the little counter "Give me a second."

"Sure thing."

"Alright just give me the bucket of fries." I said and she nodded "What drink?"

"Lemonade." I said and she nodded before she went to the back to go grab it and my phone buzzed causing me to look at it seeing that Amara texted me asking me if I landed which made me forget Ian even tell her I wasn't coming "Oops."
