"Y'all excited for this game?" Ariel asked walking into the locker room "I'll be excited when I find out who on my team." Ken said causing me to point at her "Exactly."
Today is Friday Night Lights but basketball edition. It's a scrimmage we do against our own teammates, but it's like a real game cause all the students come down to the stadium and watch. The boys team are doing it as well but ours is at 7:30 I think theres is at 9 idk tho.
"Alright!" Coach B clapped coming into the locker room causing everyone's attention to fall onto her.
"Here are the teams! On team LB aka Light Blue is ; Alexandra, Alyssa, Paulina, Kennedy, Ariel, Nya, and Chrisean." She called out and Ken jumped up "LETS GO! As long as I got Seany!" She yelled jumping on her.
"Yk what that meanss." Malu laid her head onto my shoulder "And on team DB aka Dark Blue is ; Teonni, Kayla, Malu, Dejah, Anya, Markoye, and Mariia."
"I don't care what nobody say we taking home the dub!" Teonni shrugged "I'm saying coach wrong for putting all the good players on one team." Anya mumbled causing me to laugh.
"When y'all get dressed yall will put on either your Light blue game jerseys or Dark blue game jerseys! You will not PLAY in the game jerseys they are only for media purposes aka when yall do yalls entrances. After y'all make yalls entrances I will send yall BACK to the locker room and yall will switch to the practice jerseys with yalls number on it depending on the team you are on!"
"If you are on LB put on light blue if y'all are on DB put on dark blue. Any further questions?"
"When we put on the game jerseys to do our entrance do we wear the shorts too or...?" Markoye questioned and coach B shook her head "No."
"Put on your sweats. The shorts will be worn during the game."
"Okay." She nodded "Anything else?"
"Me." I held my hand up "Dej."
"Sooo can I wear this? I know I can't wear it during the game b- during your entrance yes."
"Okay thank you." I smiled and she shook her head "Y'all good?"
