It's not gonna be as short (This ish is 1896 words T^T) as I thought it would be, but hey I know you want more anyway. Aether POV

Has Ei gotten stronger or have I gotten weaker? Her blows are heavier with each strike I can barely keep up.

I jumped away and tried to catch my breath before Ei came up behind me, struck me with lighting behind my head pushing me to the ground, and welded her polearm over my neck. I sigh, "Ok ok I yield." She smiled and helped me up.

"You are doing better." She said walking to her realm's exit.

"You're using more force aren't you?" I asked.

"Yes, you have done well with every other version of my strength." She smiled and I let out a soft chuckle.

I stopped walking, my vision was getting blurry. "How are your scars?" Ei asked sounding guilty, "Oh," She's talking about the one her puppet gave me.

"It's alright, kinda cool if you ask me... uhh Ei." My vision was getting darker. She stopped moving and turned around. "Yes, traveler?" She asked walking over to me.

That's when everything faded and went dark. I wasn't scared at first, "Ok haha very funny I didn't know you could make it dark in your realm. Please make it bright again." When Ei didn't respond that's when it hit me. I felt Ei put her hands on my cheeks like she was looking for something on my face. "Uh Ei?"

I heard her gasp softly. "Traveler I don't want you to panic." I sighed. "You didn't turn off the lights did you?"

"No, I didn't... I'm sorry, this is my fault." She said sounding sad. "It should be temporary."

"It's ok Ei, I'm used to the dark, just not total darkness..." Ei guided me out of the realm, and I sat down. "My eyes burn.." They hurt when I open them. "Alright, I'm going to call our doctor." I could hear Eis footsteps fade and Paimon teleporting next to me. I jumped opening my eyes thinking I could still see. "T-Traveler your eyes what happened!!" I explained what happened to her.

"Don't worry! Paimon is the best GUIDE in Teyvat!" I laughed.

Get it? Like a guide dog- no? Ok

I was staying with the Kamisato Clan, a few days have passed but my vision hasn't been getting any better. Ei is looking into it, she thinks it's her fault and it really hit her hard. I was sitting on the cliff right outside the Clan's house. I could feel Paimon nearby, and without a doubt, she starts talking me. Startling me at first but I calmed down, "So the Lantern Rite is coming up next month!"

"Yea?"

"Yep! Are you gonna try and invite him again?"

"Who?"

"Oh come on silly! The one Adeptus who you have this major crush on!" Paimon said a little too loud.

"It's not a crush," I said feeling my face burn up, It is so a crush.
