Xiao and Chongyun explained the situation to Paimon as they walked to Albedo's laboratory in Dragonspine.

"Oh, so you both had a dream about this girl telling you to find Albedo and go into the past to stop the war? Yea doesn't sound sketchy at all." Paimon said crossing her arms.

The group finally made it to Albedo, just as they were entering the cave, a familiar figure jumped in front of them.

"Glad you made it! Now, we have no time to lose, this way, this way!" It was the girl they saw in their dreams.

"Ahh, Nahida said you two would be coming. You're right on time, we've just finished our last test run." Albedo said.

"Is this it?" Chongyun asked.

"Yep, this is it." Albedo responded.

This is all happening so fast. Xiao thought to himself.

"Now time to explain some things.." Nahida said while offering them a seat.

"Now, I am the Dendro Archon. I'm not going to get much into me but I'm the one that gave Albedo the idea of going back in time and saving Aether. The reason I'm doing this is because Aethers quest isn't done. He must continue to travel around Teyvat. I asked Albedo and Chongyun to join you, Xiao and Paimon to help save Aether."

"But why so sudden, well no that's not right. what I mean is--" Xiao asked while his mind went crazy. He had no idea what was going on, but Chongyun seemed to.

"It wasn't sudden, maybe for you because you wouldn't sleep so there was no way for me to get into contact with you, everyone else, minus Paimon, had the same dream I gave you."

"Yea, did you lure them in by showing them your dead family?" Xiao said pissed.

"I'm sorry, I had to get your emotions to overflow so I could access your mind. You have a lot of walls built up."

Xiao scuffed. Even if she was the God of Wisdom, she still made him live one of his deepest desires and pulled him from it as well.

"This machine has a piece of Irminsul, we are going to link into Xiao's past self-location... Xiao you and Paimon will be the only ones to go back. Once you alter the past this present will disappear. Once you enter the past you will become your past selves. Chongyun has a device that has Aether's other selves contained, they are there to keep their power from leaking. If that makes sense. They will travel with you as well, in a sleep-like state. They will only be active if you call for them."

Nahida looked around and everyone but Albedo was confused.

"Hermmm maybe it's better if I ask any questions you might have first...."
