I managed to get everyone, including the injured and dead, out of dragonspine without them seeing my face. I had the ruin guards lined up like a wall, splitting them from my brother. It was difficult, who knew Aether would have a plan on grabbing the dead and getting them off the battlefield. Wait is he?! NO

I should have told him i'd come and help instead of kicking him to the curb. And be supportive when he told me he was getting married. It's been 5 years since he awoke and already found someone he loves and someone that loves him. I was envious, i've been here for 500 years and never found anyone like that. Now... I regret not getting here sooner, his lover is dead and it's all my fault. And now hes going to sacrifice himself to save all the dead, only an idiot would risk their lives for these mortals skum-

Loud sounds of two strong opponents clashing swords echoed through the mountains.

"I bet you thats our Conqueror of Demons fighting!!" Said a Liyue soldier. If only they knew he died protecting someone he loved.

"Yea! He and the Traveler are the only ones who didn't come over to this side! I bet they're both fighting!"

"That Adeptus fighting side by side with a mortal? A stupid concept really! That weak boy couldn't-"

"Honestly why are we fighting in the first place?! That damn ali-"

"YOU SHUT UP!" I yelled while in the snow cover, my attire flying around with the wind. The ruin guards copied and let out a loud roar.

Everyone behind the ruin guard wall got quiet. I turned around and allowed myself to be shown, "Why do you think I forced you all to retreat? Hmm?!" Everyone looked at me. "Your Adeptus is dead. Aether is fighting using the karma that was released from Adeptus Xiao's body."

Everyone shifted around, "Xiao is dead?" I looked around and saw a girl with a bow in her hand, cryo vision, she was part Adeptus. "And you're Aethers sister."

I looked around and saw Barbados, I smirked, "Barbados... tell me do you know what he's going to do once he kills my father?" His face got angry like I wasn't meant to say his name. Others of Mondstad looked at the poorly dressed Bard.

"One shouldn't be sharing others' secrets." that damn bird. I laughed, "you knew!! You knew the two were...' I didn't finish, I shouldn't.

"My brother is going to sacrifice himself and bring the dead back, not like my father's soldiers. Aether has a special ability to take someone's soul after they've died. Each time he returns the soul to the body he grows weak, needing time to recover. But with resurrecting everyone that has died after this war... He is bound to die."

I don't care much for this, A bright green light shined through the snow.

Paimon POV

I'm crying while Diluc is holding me, "Paimon knows the traveler told Piomon to stay away and that he said he'd come back alive but Paimon can't help but think that hes..."

"It's going to be alright Paimon. Aether will come back to you-" A bright white light shined into the sky, followed by green and black, and screams. "That's Aether!"

3rd person POV

"The little dude is going to be alright. Right?"

"You promised Klee that you'd go flush blasting with her Aether...."

The light shined and touched the sky, while little sparks like snow fell to the ground, touching the body of everyone. Healing them. Reviving them. One by one each soldier that was once part of the dead came back.
