They had finally made a truce proposal that was fair and Fallacy was on her way to Encre. She was pissed by the amount of time it had taken. Her back was aching and the skin on her stomach felt as if it was about to rip. She came to the castle Encre owned and tied her horse to her spot. She angrily stormed into the castle. Her dogs followed obediently but kept their head down to show people that they should be careful. Everyone could see she was pissed and those who couldn't just had to look at her dogs. They tried to keep their distance knowing that an angry Fallacy was not someone you wanted to get in the way off. She walked into Encre's office and he looked at her with a smile. That was until he noticed her mood.
"What happened, Fallacy?" He asked. She placed the papers with a truce proposal on the table.
"Toriel is a stubborn woman who doesn't know the meaning of Fair my back hurts as if a raging fire was on it and the skin of my stomach feels as if it's about to rip," Fallacy hissed. Her stomach then growled in hunger. Encre sighed and helped her to the nearest chair. Fallacy let out an exhausted breath as she leaned against the chair. Her dogs sat down. Bell lay its head on her lap. Encre summoned Anna while looking over the truce proposal. He glanced at Fallacy ever so often to see how she was doing only to find her yawning. It didn't take long for Anna to enter. She took one look at Fallacy before leaving to gather some things. She returned five minutes later with an unbelievably long piece of cloth.
"Fallacy we have been over this before you need to wrap your belly with fabric to support the skin and your children," Anna said. Fallacy sighed as she crossed her arms not satisfied but eventually nodded.
"I'll go get you a plate of food then I can show you how to wrap it," anna said leaving. Fallacy leaned back in the chair exhausted. Encre frowned almost angry seeing her in pain. He got up and took the fabric.
"I can wrap the fabric around your stomach if you are comfortable with it," Encre offered. Fallacy turned to him.
"I don't mind," Fallacy said. Encre found the middle of the fabric and made the mother of his children take off her shirt while leaning forwards a little. Encre took a moment to just look at the body. He hadn't know truly how beautiful it was until now. Fallacy had nothing under her shirt nothing to support her stomach or breast. He blushed but placed the fabric so the middle was by her spine. He wrapped it twice under her belly before spreading the fabric so it was wide and then wove it along her belly until right under her breast. Fallacy could already feel the support and how it relieved her sore back and skin. She didn't care that he saw her body. It wasn't like he hadn't done it before.
"How do you know how to do that?" Fallacy asked. Encre smiled as he wove extra layers and wrapped the ends of the fabric around her shoulders supporting her chest too.
"I saw a pregnant maid do it and got her the teach me how," Encre said. He took a step back as he was finished and Fallacy sighed satisfied as she put her shirt on again.
"Why did you want to know this?" Fallacy asked leaning against the chair. Her belly and back didn't hurt as much.
"In case I became pregnant or impregnated someone. I knew the chances were slim, but I still wanted to know," Encre said. Fallacy sighed again relieved. It felt like she was relaxing after a hard day of work. (Or taking off a bra after wearing it for 16 hours) Encre walked back to his desk before signing the truce proposal and started working on a reply.
"I don't know why I was against this," She said smiling softly. Anna returned holding a plate filled with what appeared to be fried meatballs. Fallacy's medicine was in some of them. Anna smiled and gave Fallacy the plate.
"So should I wrap your belly?" Anna asked. Fallacy looked up at her.
"We already figured it out," Fallacy said. Anna looked at Encre who was still blushing softly. The mother took a ball from the plate and bit down. A delicious taste filled her mouth and she savoured the taste while the two vampires in there grew pale. Fallacy took another one and the taste was amazing.
"I think I was given the wrong plate," Anna said. Fallacy took another ball.
"Maybe, but this is delicious," Fallacy said.
"Fallacy, someone put blood in the dish," Encre said. Fallacy paused for a moment.
"Animal blood or civilian blood?" The mother to be asked.
"Most likely the first,"
"I honestly don't care then as I am carrying half vampires and I grew up eating cured blood sausages," She said while popping another one into her mouth. The two others were left stunned.
"Plus the amount of Blood I eat during my pregnancy determines what they will become," Fallacy said eating happily until she popped her medicine into her mouth. The sour taste was disgusting. The King was surprised but Anna was unfazed. Of course, she knew about the influence of the blood on the children. It was her job after all. Fallacy finished and got up. Anna noticed that the belly wasn't hanging like before. It was more secure and looked like a normal single-child pregnancy in its 7'th month. Fallacy walked into the kitchen with the plate and left it there before returning. She sat in the chair again as Encre signed the papers for a truce. She was incredibly tired and while Encre started to work on other matters did she drift off. Encre didn't notice until he tried to start a conversation. He noticed the lack of response, but when he looked up couldn't he help but smile. He walked over to her and let his eyes scan over her sleeping form. Her dogs had gotten used to Encre and didn't growl at her trying to get him away. He gently picked her up and placed her head against his chest to support her neck while carrying her. He brought her to her room and laid her in her bed gently tugging her in. She never bothered to use it, but now she had to. He was gentle with her treating her like a cracked porcelain doll that could break at any moment. Making sure that the only thing uncovered was her head. He was satisfied with the way she was tugged in as he looked at her. He kneeled down and gently kissed her forehead before leaving the room and going back to work. Fallacy was snuggling into the sheets as the warmth surrounded her two dogs getting up and laying on eighter side of her.
