Fallacy sat in front of the queen in the castle her phoenix flying outside of the castle. She did believe in demons now but she didn't believe in the story that the world would end in under 9 months.

"Toriel I understand how unbelievable this sounds but in 8 months we can see the gate and be honest is the only thing needed a temporary truce a month-long utmost," Fallacy said.

"Fallacy, don't take this personally but other than you killing a demon do we have no evidence," Toriel said. Fallacy sighed.

"I don't have any other evidence but I'm sure that if you go to the library you'll find something. My mother gave some of her books to your father as a gift," Fallacy said. Toriel ordered two of her maids to go fetch the books. Fallacy used a week one finding proof. She even went to Encre to get books that she could use as evidence. Of course, no one noticed a thing other than books just disappearing. Fallacy was annoyed and thought of things that she could use as proof but then something hit her. She hurried to the castle and found Toriel.

"Do you often have the feeling of being watched when you sleep?" She asked. The queen looked at her friend being quite surprised.

"Yes, I do," Toriel said.

"Do you have nightmares about dying?" Fallacy then asked. Toriel looked more shocked.

"How do you know?" She asked. Fallacy ignored her.

"For how long have you had these nightmares?" Fallacy asked.

"Why does it matter?" The queen asked. Fallacy sighed as a maid ran into the room with two books.

"Is one of them decorated with a knife?" Fallacy asked. She was handed a book. Fallacy recognized it without having to look at it. Her mother forced her to perfect memories all the books about demons, which were later donated to the library, the same way a monk has to memories the holy scripts.

"Page 53," The queen took it and read. The skeleton in the room didn't need to see to know that the queen was horrified.

"If you've had the nightmares for five months then sleep in another room or you may get killed in your sleep," Fallacy said. Toriel grabbed Fallacy harshly.

"How-" Fallacy cut the queen off.

"My mother's death was not caused by a vampire but by one of those demons the day after she stopped herself from committing suicide. I never told anyone about it," Fallacy revealed. Toriel let go. She stared at Fallacy. Then she was suddenly consumed by anger. All this time everyone thought vampires had killed fallacy's mother. A woman that was looked up at by almost everyone.

"Guards. Lock her in the dungeon," Toriel ordered. Fallacy sighed.

"Toriel. Let a maid sleep in your room tonight and see that I saved your life," Fallacy said before running to a window. She used her hearing to locate the echo of the window. Different materials made different echoes. and Fallacy could clearly hear what was stone and what was glass. The window was open due to the heat in the room. Fallacy jumped out of the window and used her strings to slow her down and swing around the castle corner and over the wall. She landed on top of it at jumped from the wall over the moat that protected the castle. She landed on the ground before using the stones to get on top of the houses surrounding the castle. This was a capital after all. Fallacy was stealthily running and jumping from house to house while being blind. Her strings were five meters in front of her and that is what made it possible for her to run as she did. She could hear that no one was following her or had noticed her but she could also feel the lack of sun and the cold air telling her it was night. She practically blended in with the dark sky. She jumped down onto the street and towards the market. It was closing down for the night. She walked to the animal coop and quickly found the horses.

"Fallacy It's been quite a while since I last saw you. How are you doing?" Fallacy recognized the man's voice. It was a good friend of her mother's.

"You have probably heard what happened and I'm doing quite well considering the circumstances," fallacy said as if the queen hadn't just told her guards to trap her.

"fallacy if you need something then tell me. I want to help in any way I can," The man said.

"You can help me, Sebastian. I need a horse one with a lot of endurance I will pay whatever the price may be. It needs to be strong young and tough," said. He took my hand.

"Two and I have the perfect horse for you," He said. Fallacy reached for her belt. She never left anywhere without her belt if it could be helped. She took out two silver coins. He walked by and gave the ropes to me. I gave him the coins and he gave them back.

"bronze," He said. Fallacy took his hand and pushed one silver into his hand.

"I accidentally saved the queen's life in a way that made her pissed You did not sell a horse to me," Fallacy said and patted along the horse's back. She noticed a saddle on it and smiled at him. She got on.

"Wait how are you going to ride a horse while blind?" He asked. Only now did Diaran come to Fallacy.

"My Phenix knows the way better than me," Fallacy said and they were off. Diaran lead the way but so did Fallacy. She had trained her hearing as she had travelled with pen and could 'see' the surroundings as she rode the horse home. Felicia stood outside the house and looked up at her with Lofy by her side.

"Fallacy what did you do?" Lofy asked.

"Told the queen that she might get killed if she keeps on sleeping in her bedroom. She didn't like that. I'm pretty sure she is genuinely terrified of me now," Fallacy said. Lofy looked at her friend in disbelief and then noticed that she had ridden here on a horse.

"How did you manage to ride a horse while blind?" Lofy asked. Fallacy rubbed the back of her head nervous.

"I use my hearing to navigate. It's... not easy and I promise most people won't be able to know how to do it. Especially because I can't 'see' possible holes in the ground nor unstable ground," Lofy looked at her blind friend and sighed. She looked at the belly that was bulging slightly. Lofy smiled softly but sadly.

"You kept them," She stated. Fallacy sighed.

"Felicia, did you tell Lofy what I told you? about our mother and I?" Fallacy asked. Felicia walked up to her sister gently taking her wrist.

"No. This is not something that concerns her," Felicia said.

"Is it about your mother and you being demon huntress? Your mother told me while she was training me," Lofy said causing both sisters to stop and turn to her. Lofy smiled softly and walked over to them.

"Yes, I always knew," Lofy said. Fallacy dragged both in and told Lofy about her new role and well that the world was about to end.

"Fallacy If the queen should end up falling ill then all military decisions will fall on my shoulders," Lofy said.

"If you are suggesting that we poison the queen then forget it," fallacy said. Lofy looked at Fallacy.

"Not what I meant," Lofy said. Fallacy sighed. She was tired as today had been long. Felicia must have noticed because she told her sister to go to bed and Fallacy just did as told.
