Fallacy opened her eyes. Her head was throbbing horribly and she honestly felt like shit but at the same time relived. She felt unburdened. She sat up and looked at the maid who waited at the door. The same who had been there then many times Fallacy went to drink. She always woke here and always had this very maid waiting for her to wake. The only difference. The maid was terrified. Fallacy had the feeling she couldn't say anything to soothe the maid so she didn't even try. She got up and tried to grab her amulet only to see it gone.

"Do you know where My amulet is?" Fallacy asked.

"T-the queen has it," The maid said. Fallacy sighed. Toriel was forcing her to talk to her. Fallacy begrudgingly got up.

"Amelia I'm sorry that I'm scaring you," Fallacy said looking at the maid. The maid only froze but she calmed down at least a bit.

"The queen is in her office," The maid said. Fallacy was not hurt by the cold demeanour the woman showed. But she felt a knot in her throat as she held back a sob. Things could never go back. She could never live like she once did. She left the room going to Toriels office space. In there the queen sat waiting. She looked up at Fallacy with a warm smile and a soft demeanour. Fallacy walked to the queen's table and was handed the amulet.

"Fallacy know this if you ever need help you can rely on me," Toriel said.

"You stole my amulet to tell me that?" Fallacy asked Toriel calmly.

"I wanted to tell you in person," Toriel said. Fallacy turned away.

"Honestly I don't think we will be seeing much of each other from now on," Fallacy said taking the amulet and putting it on.

"I will still help you should you ever need it,"

"I don't mean to offend you but If I need help you will not be able to do anything," Fallacy stated as she turned to the queen with a dead look in her eyes. Fallacy knew how empty she looked but it was about as empty as she felt.

"Have you ever wondered bout death?" Fallacy asked. She looked at toriel and waited for an answer she didn't know if she would get.

"I do from times to times," Toriel admitted. Fallacy's cold face twisted into an empty smile.

"Take it from someone who died 4 times. Nothing is waiting on the other side. Only an emptiness lingering. A black void that washes away your worries. Toriel. When we die our souls exist alone in another realm. Only the angel of death can come and visit us. Don't worry though. It's pleasant. The emptiness swallows us whole and long with our worries. We are left at peace worryless guilt free," Fallacy said. The way she said it. Toriel felt as if Fallacy was longing for it she could tell by the way Fallacy spoke.

"You sound like you want to go back," Toriel stated.

"I do. But I gave up my afterlife for the lives of everyone else. When I die I simply cease to exist," Fallacy said and finally left Toriels office. She teleported back to Encre's castle using her amulet. She had barely walked 5 steps before she was engulfed in a hug. She recognised Encre's arms and just sunk into his embrace. She felt protected in his arms despite knowing he could do nothing if a real threat came knocking at the door.

"Are you hungry?" He asked calmly. She didn't manage to answer as her stomach growled. He chuckled and picked her up leaning her head against his shoulder and carried her to his office. In there, a cold meal sat waiting for her on his table. He placed her on his chair and kissed the top of her head.

"I have to meet up with someone," He said and left her to her own devices. She ate calmly as she leaned against his desk. Her 'guardians' appeared and looked at her. She didn't pay them any mind.
