They were on their way again. Fallacy was nibbling at some bread she got and Pen wasn't happy knowing that she was eating too much even considering that she was pregnant. He had commented on it a lot but she would ignore him. It was early morning and the sun was about to rise. Pen flew down to hide from the sun. They came down and Fallacy felt something happening in her stomach. She half panicked and pulled up her shirt."Something is happening with the child. Can you tell me what?" She asked. Pen looked at her and she heard him gasp. She used her soul to try and sense them but something seemed wrong. Pen had opened his mouth then closed it then opened it again."Instead of acting like a dying fish could you tell me what you see?" She asked rather harshly. He was more stunned that she knew what he was doing and had this surprised look."Your jaw sounded like an old wooden floor that a thief is trying to cross. It also makes enough sound for me to know your expression," She said. He wasn't sure if this was an insult. "Well you're not just carrying one child and I'm sorry for calling out on you eating. Four children need a lot of food," He said. Fallacy let it sink in but then realizes what words left his mouth."Did you just say four?" she was shocked. He knew that it was a lot to take in. Especially knowing that the world might end in under eight months. "Yes," He said. She was stunned. "This surprises me more than it should," She said letting go of her shirt. He laughed and they started walking. They walked in silence as Diarnan flew around. It suddenly flew straight ahead and came back with a living Rabbit giving it to Pen. He placed his fangs in it and drank. He then gave it to fallacy who skinned it in a matter of seconds and let Diarnan cook it. Diarnan sat on her shoulder. Fallacy would eat but also feed Diarnan. This was how the two 'protectors' made sure that Fallacy got the amount of proteins that she would need. She gave Diarnan the bones and some of the organs that Fallacy didn't eat. The bird happily ate. Fallacy still held the skin and started gently heating it with the powers that she got from Diarnan. It was to melt any fat away without damaging the skin. She was soon done and used her strings to make it into a hat. She could sell it for good money doing the fall where women would freeze around their heads."What color is the fur?" She asked."Light brown with black spots that look like drops of water," pen said. Fallacy nodded and placed it in her bag. They walked along again but fallacy heard something and stopped moving. They looked at her but she suddenly wrapped them in strings and sent them flying away. She caught an arrow mid-air. She shot her strings in the ground and forced them to dig through the dirt and root without damaging them. She caught what attacked them. It ripped itself out of her strings and game at her charging headfirst. She could sense that she couldn't move away in time. She was suddenly grabbed from the side and saved. Diarnan fried the attacker alive. Pen held her arm not so gently."WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING? YOU ALMOST KILLED YOURSELF!" He yelled at her. Diarnan grabbed the gem between the demon's eyes. "YOU KILLED A DEMON MORE WOULD FOLLOW YOU WITHOUT QUESTION YET YOU STILL THOUGHT THAT IT WAS JUST A REGULAR BEAST TRYING TO KILL YOU! Fallacy I know that you don't want us hurt but for once is it my turn to protect you," Pen said. She didn't say anything. She knew what she did was wrong. He sighed and looked up. They saw the mountains."One good news is that we've reached the first stop. You should probably send a letter home," He said. She looked down. Pen picked her up and ran to the nearest town. They came and noticed how cold it was. Fallacy found out to sell all the fur clothing she had made during the last week.
