Itsumiko was woken up by knocking on her door. She groaned and rolled over. The sound of the door creaking was heard.
"Itsu, you need to wake up," Her dad said. She opened her eyes a bit to see the clock on her wall saying it was eight in the morning. She was an hour late to class. She rolled over and looked at her dad.
"Are you sure I have to go?" She asked him. He smiled from under his mask and rubbed the back of his head.
"Unfortunately, yes. I've been told by Iruka that just because you are the mini version of me does not mean you can be late to everything. As you can see, I did not take his advice," He said and left her room. She sighed and got up. She put on her ninja tights and her black shorts, she put her light chain vest on and put a black crop top on. She slipped on her ninja shoes and walked out into the living room.
"Will I see you when I get home?" She asked her dad. He leaned on the table and looked at her over his book.
"Yeah, I have no missions as of today," He said. She nodded her head and walked out the door. She walked to the academy in silence. No one understood why she was late to everything, but she did and that was what mattered. No one else needed to know why she did what she did.
As she walked to the academy she noticed Naruto up on the Hokage's monument. He was painting them and laughing. She shook her head and walked into the academy. As she entered the classroom, Iruka stopped and looked at her.
"Itsumiko, I have talked to Kakashi over a hundred times about being late. You need to be on time," He said. She looked at him.
"You're upset about me being late but Naruto can paint the monument?" She asked. He looked at her in confusion and she pointed lazily outside the window. Iruka looked and then ran out of the room. She shook her head and walked over and sat next to Sasuke.
"Why are you always late?" He asked her.
"Why does it bother you? Not like you care anyways," She said. He gave her a look but let it go. She felt daggers being thrown into the back of her head and she turned around to see Sakura and Ino were glaring at her. She turned back around when she heard the door to the classroom being thrown open and a tied up Naruto was sitting on the floor.
"I've had it up to here with your shenanigans Naruto. You didn't pass the exam last year and now you are throwing it out the window again," Iruka said to him. Naruto turned his head to the side and that angered Iruka.
"Fine! Since Naruto doesn't seem to take a hint, we will be going over the transformation Jutsu. Everyone form a line," He said and untied Naruto. Everyone groaned and got up. Itsumiko headed up to the front and stopped, letting Sasuke go before her. He did the hand sign and transformed into Iruka.
"Transformed into me, okay," He said and marked him off the clipboard. She moved up and had her arms crossed. She transformed into Iruka and he stared at her.
"Your dad taught you well. No hand sign and every detail is perfect," He said and marked her off the clipboard. She released the jutsu and went back to her seat. Sasuke scoffed at her.
"Show off," He said.
"Well if you practiced more instead of brooding, maybe you would be better as well," She said without looking at him. Naruto got to the front of the line and transformed into the third Hokage but as... a midget. Itsumiko shook her head and looked down.
"He can't be serious right now," Sasuke said. She looked back up.
"Oh no, I think he's serious," She said. Sasuke did another scoff.
