Itsumiko was shaken awake. She jumped and looked around, she saw Naruto kneeling in front of her.

"What's going on?" She asked.

"The preliminaries are over, we need to go down," Naruto said. She nodded her head and got up. They walked down to the center and she noticed a lot of people were gone. Hayate went to all of them and they pulled out a number. After they had their numbers he made a bracket and they were assigned their last opponent for the exams. It looked like Itsumiko was going against Dosu.

"Great, another Sound Ninja," She said to herself.

"You have a month to prepare for the final exam. Be ready when it happens," Lord Third said and they were dismissed. As they walked out, Naruto informed her of what happened and how everyone won. Sakura and Ino knocked each other out. Neji almost killed Hinata and the Jounin had to step in. Shikamaru won with his shadow possession. Gaara severely injured Lee. Dosu won against Choji with his sound. Naruto won against Kiba by farting.

"Really? That's how you won?" She asked him. Naruto rubbed the back of his head and chuckled.

"So, Itsu, how are you going to train now?" Naruto asked her. She shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't know. Never had to worry about it before. I don't know where to even begin," She said. Naruto nodded his head in understanding. They walked through the village and she saw her dad and Hiashi talking. Itsumiko waved bye to Naruto and walked up to them.

"Itsumiko, congratulations on the exam. Your dad tells me you are moving on to the final round," Hiashi said. She nodded her head.

"I wouldn't say it was a total success but yeah, I made it," She said. Kakashi looked at her.

"I was talking to Hiashi about having you train with him. He knows the Byakugan and what it can do, obviously," He said. She looked between her dad and Hiashi.

"Wait, I thought the Hyuga clan kept the secrets about the Byakugan though. I didn't exactly grow up with this," She said. Hiashi gave her a small smile, it was barely noticeable but it was there.

"Even if I didn't train you, you would figure it out. It would take you a lot longer though. So, I figured I would make an exception," He said. Itsumiko nodded her head.

"So, when do I start training? Today?" She asked. Kakashi laid a hand on her shoulder.

"Whoa kiddo, you need to eat something and you need to rest. You have had a long couple of days and doing this kind of training could hurt you," He said. She looked down. She was frustrated but she understood what he was saying.

"We will start training tomorrow. Be at the compound at nine in the morning and make sure you eat something," Hiashi said and walked away. Kakashi and Itsumiko walked back to their house. When they got in Itsumiko tried to walk to her bedroom but Kakashi pulled her back by her arm.

"You are eating first," He said and pulled her to the kitchen. He made ramen and some rice balls. He set the food in front of her and she could feel the hunger. She ate in silence until her dad spoke up.

"How are you feeling?" He asked her. She took another mouthful of ramen and set her chopsticks down.

"I feel fine," She said.

"You are not fine, I can tell. What Orochimaru did to you-"

"I don't want to talk about it, seriously, I'm fine," She said and she put her dishes in the sink. She said goodnight to her dad and walked into her room. She changed into her night shorts and a tank top. She laid down and stared at her ceiling. She could feel Orochimaru in her mind. She could feel the urge to leave vibrating in her bones. She tried to push them away but it didn't work. She suddenly heard a light tapping on her glass door that led to the balcony. She looked over to see Neji. She opened it up and walked out, closing the door behind her.
