Itsumiko woke up to her dark room. She looked over to her clock to see it was five in the morning. She rolled over trying to go back to sleep, but she couldn't. So, she got up and got dressed. She put black pants with pockets and put on her chainmail undershirt and a black crop top. She decided to put on her ninja gloves her dad had got her. It had metal plates on the top and were slightly heavy, but she was used to them. She walked out into the living room to see her dad was awake.
"Oh, good morning. I thought you would have slept in," He said. She rubbed her eyes and yawned.
"I was going to sleep in, until I couldn't fall back to sleep," She said. Kakashi chuckled at her. He motioned to her hair.
"What are you going to do with that? Leave it?" He asked with a smile. She sighed and grabbed a hair tie, putting it in a ponytail.
"I don't have the mental capacity to deal with today," She said. Kakashi laughed at her.
"I get that. It's gonna be a long day today," He said. She nodded her head and grabbed her kunai and shuriken pouch and put them on. She walked out of her house and towards the training grounds they were meeting at. She knew her dad wouldn't be there for a while. As she approached the training grounds, she saw everyone there.
"Where's Kakashi-Sensei?" Sakura asked.
"Not with me," She said and sat on one of the posts.
"I'm gonna ask you again, what is this test about?" Sasuke asked her. She rolled her eyes.
"You're on a team, figure it out," She said in a rude voice. Sasuke scoffed at her. Sakura walked up to her with her arms crossed.
"Don't be rude to Sasuke! He just asked you a question," Sakura said. Itsumiko looked at her.
"You're not even dating him, why don't you back off," She said. A blush formed on Sakura's face. She looked away from her and walked away. Sasuke looked at her with a smirk.
"I can handle my own. I don't need another fangirl," He said. Itsumiko scoffed.
"Oh please, you are totally not my type," She said. Sasuke chuckled. She looked down at him. It was just them over at the posts and the other two were near the water.
"Why don't you just tell her to knock it off? If you don't she won't stop pushing," She said to him. Sasuke looked over at Sakura.
"She isn't hurting anyone. As long as she doesn't get in my way then we won't have a problem," He said and looked back up at her. They weren't exactly friends, but they weren't enemies either. They spared at the academy but it always ended up being a tie. She didn't expect anything to change between them now they were on a team. They just needed to have each other's backs on missions.
After a couple hours and listening to Naruto and Sakura's complaining, Kakashi finally showed up.
"Where were you!" Naruto and Sakura yelled at him.
"A black cat crossed my path so I had to take the long way around," He said in a nonchalant voice. They groaned and stood straight. Kakashi pulled out three bells and tied them to his pants and put a clock up on the middle post. He set it for noon.
"You guys have until noon to get these bells. You can use Kunai and Shuriken and any other jutsu in order to get the bells," He said. Sakura chimed in.
"Wait but Sensei, those are dangerous," She said. Itsumiko jumped down from her post and walked over.
"If you aren't ready to kill to get the mission done, then you aren't in the right business," She said. Sakura glared at her.
