Jungkook pats y/n's back while humming a soft lullaby, trying to put her asleep. He glances at the clock which remarks 9.00 P.M, while walking back and forth in the room. It's another day that Minjun and Jiho are out of the country to businesses, so it's just a normal thing to Jungkook to take care of his baby sister, who's just 2 years old.

"Who's at this time....? Gosh.... Thank you for ruining her peaceful sleep..."

Jungkook groans while climbing down the stairs as the door bell rang, still holding y/n who's sobbing slightly due to her drowsiness.

"Don't cry, my baby. We can sleep soon..."

He pats her back while opening the door to welcome his aunt who's holding her daughter's hand tightly, who's 8 years old.

"Jungkook-ah, please take care of her for today night, until tomorrow evening. One of my best friend has hospitalised, I need to stay with her tonight. I know it's not a necessary thing, but please understand me..."

The aunt utters like a train, which makes Jungkook confuse a bit at the beginning. Though he's not a fan of the 8 year old girl, he has no other choice than taking care of her.

"Fine, but she should not harm my y/n this time, nor mischievous acts..."

"She'll not, Jungkook-ah. Thank you for the help..."

"Fine, fine. Come inside by the way..."

"No, Kook. I need to go right now. Thank you again."

The lady tossed off while glancing but ignoring the little y/n who's sobbing and whining softly.

"Come inside. Get a wash, straight to the bed. Understood, Junji?"

"Yeah Oppa"

"Fine, be quick"

Jungkook says as he closes the door behind him. The little girl disappears quietly after climbing the stairs.

"She's such a headache, I'll mail her to the aunt if she'll mess up with y/n this time..."

Jungkook mumbles to himself while rocking y/n, recalling the way she opens the block of y/n's cradle the last time she visited, which made her fall down and hurt. He sighs, realising that y/n has fallen asleep. He slowly takes away her from his shoulder, holding her on his hands softly, admiring her beauty.

"Sleep tight, my baby..."

He mumbles one last time and kisses her forehead, stepping towards their room.

"Y/n, want--park..."

The two year old protests while standing on Jungkook's lap. She clasps Jungkook's two fingers from her small hands, trying to stand still until her legs are giving up.

"Fine, we will go there after the lunch, with Junji unnie okay?"

"No unnieee---"

"I know you don't like her, princess. But Koo promises it's the last time okay?"

"Pwomise?"

"Yeah, promise.."

Jungkook says as he pulls her to his embrace, hugging her tightly. The girl let goes soft yet playful giggles, enjoying the every moment with her brother.

"Junji-ah, we are getting late....we should be here again before four. Aunt said that she'll be here at sharp four..."

Jungkook says, putting y/n's tiny slippers and carrying her in his arms protectively.

"I'm almost done oppa.."

Junji says, while appearing out of nowhere. Jungkook nods and opens the door and gets out, stepping to the park which isn't that far from their house. Soon they reache the place and y/n wiggles in Jungkook's arms, feeling an overwhelming happiness. Jungkook chuckles at her behaviour as he puts her down on the feet, still holding her tiny hands in his. It's been a while when Jungkook's phone rang, displaying his teacher's id on it. He sighs, deciding to answer it.

"Hey, Junji, take care of her for a while, I need to answer this call. Don't go over there, there's a staircase and you both will fall off okay?"

Junji nods as an obedient kid, holding y/n closer to her. As soon as Jungkook left the place, she glances at the staircase which leads to the another block of the park. She mischievously glances at it, next slowly steps towards it, carrying y/n with a difficulty.

"Hey, do you know who was Kookie's favourite before you come here? It was me, atleast he talked nicely with me. But because of you, Kookie don't play with me now. He only has his attention on you, I hate you, you little creature...monster..."

She mumbles and let y/n go from her hands.

"Oh no...no...no...What an actual fuck you did?"

Making Junji flinch, Jungkook's anger laced voice appears from her back. The very next moment he is climbing down the small stair case, but he's too late as y/n's painful cries echo through his ears.

"My baby..."

Jungkook groans, cursing at himself for believing Junji for the first time and for the last time. He carries her up in his arms, which made y/n cry more louder.

"God, what's wrong with your leg?"

He asks from himself, noticing a weird look in her tiny leg. He climbs up the five stairs again, leading towards the car to reach the hospital as soon as possible. Junji mocked at his behaviour and getting inside the car with him.

"Her leg has broken, we casted it already. Try to keep her calm, don't let her walk for a while. Take a good care on her...you should be very attentive towards the simplest move done by her...got it, Mr.Jeon?"

"Yeah, thank you doctor..."

He says with a sad smile, holding y/n carefully against him. The girl let goes a painful cry, holding Jungkook's fabric tightly.

"Will it hurt like this everytime?"

Jungkook asks from the doctor, pressing his thin layer of tears in his eyes, trying to calm down his beloved sister who's in mere pain.

"Since she's a kid, it will. She's so soft, her bones are not strong as a grown up person. So it'll hurt her till some days"

Jungkook nods, rubbing circles on y/n's back who's sobbing quietly, placing her head on Jungkook's shoulder. He exit from the room, only to find Junji being scolded by the aunt.

"This is why I don't like her, aunt. Don't take me wrong, but I like to talk straightly. What if y/n hurt somewhere serious? What will I do? Please ask her to not do like this again. Don't send her to me to take care of, instead choose another option. I would like if she leave the place right now..."

Jungkook says, glaring at Junji who's hiding behind her mother. The aunt grabs her hand harshly, mumbling a small sorry for Jungkook to cover her embarrassment. Soon she drags Junji away, while Jungkook takes out his phone.

"Yeah, Joonie hyung, it's me. Can you come to the hospital? No, y/n's hurt quit badly...yeah I'll tell you everything, I can't drive with her...(A/N-Joonie can drive here okay? Please 😁🙂)

Yeah, the car is with me, please take a bus...sorry for bothering you okay? Please forgive us hyungie...I know you are busy...."
