"Yeah, manager-nim, I'll call you back once I reach home"

Jungkook simply replies and declines the call, stepping back to the swings. He promised y/n to take her to the park today and they were enjoying, but Jungkook needed to excuse himself for a while to attend the call from his manager.

His brows crash together when he sees y/n on the dusty floor, looking confused and a group of children surrounding her.

"You blind kid, things like parks are for healthy kids like us, not for kids who cannot see the beauty of the world"

Jungkook hears a girl mocking at his sister and a sting pain hit through his heart, knowing very well how his little girl is feeling. Yes, she's blind. She faced an accident when she was very small, at a age that she only knows to cry her lungs out to full fill her needs. Ever since that day, she spends her life in a world that is only surrounded with pitch darkness. Jungkook is the only person who is there with her throughout, the whole society cornered, ignored, neglected, insulted her for being blind.

But for Jungkook's relief, her doctor said that she might has a chance to get back her sight after a surgery and he hopefully accepted the doctor's words with a tiny nod, being patient like he was for past fourteen years.

"Stay the hell away from my sister"

Jungkook's anger coated voice enters to the children's ears and they quickly flee away, while y/n shots her head towards the direction Jungkook's voice came. He rushes and crouches down beside her, pulling her to a hug.

"I'm sorry, baby...Koo failed again to protect his precious princess"

He mumbles, tears are dancing in his eyes when y/n's teary wet his fabric. He holds himself for her like he always did in the past. He holds himself everyday until she falls asleep, so he can cry his heart out and y/n would not hear him crying for the pain she feels. He is not bearable with the way the world treat his sister anymore, he's worn out with the way the world treat her, the pain the world give to his little angel.

"Why it's always me, Koo? It's not my fault"

She hushes out and Jungkook blinks rapidly, trying to suppress the tears, while the group of the children that hurt y/n watch the siblings from far. They feel dissapointed and ashamed of themselves when they see the brother hasn't any words to comfort his sister anymore, they feel guilty when the brother is trying his best to not to break down infront of his sister. The boys of the group who have little sisters recalls the way their sisters always reach them whenever they are feeling down because they know that their brothers can console them, just like y/n doing right now. They feel guilty.

"Everything will be alright, love. Oppa will fix everything, just be patient for a while"

Jungkook mumbles back and kisses the side of her head, next helps her to stand up. He dusts her clothes and wipes her tears away from his long sleeve, next scoops her up in his arms despite the glances he receives from the surrounders, who didn't even tried to help his sister.

"....and then, the princess played in the rain with her cute kitten"

Jungkook is laying beside y/n, caressing her head, telling her a bed time story as usual and she looks so lost, as she stares at Jungkook's face.

"Rain? I hear the rain, Koo...the sound of the rain is so beautiful"

"Yeah, the rain is beautiful. After raining, a lot of flowers can be seen our garden"

"Why we get wet when we drench in the rain, Koo?"

"Because it's the water drops that are raining"

"Huh? So, do we look all blue? Because you said that water is blue"

Jungkook's heartbeat randomly increases, afraid that she'll ask what does the blue colour looks like, because next, he is at a lost of the words, unable to explain her that blue colour is everywhere and the sky is blue too, because when she asks how the sky looks like, he got no answers at all. He's too afraid to see her staring at him, expecting an explanation about the things that belong to the nature, because he knows that he cannot make her understand that how it looks like. She doesn't know colours, shapes, materials, not even the person who loves her the most, him.

"N-no, baby. We don't look blue, we are all fine. Now go to the sleep, we played alot today, I bet you are tired"

He somehow managed her question and she nods as if she understands how Jungkook is feeling. She slowly brings her hand towards his face, running her soft fingers all over his face.

"I have a picture of my Koo in my mind..."

She says and Jungkook nibbles on his lower lip, unease is eating him.

"Koo looks beautiful. Like a prince, I guess...I love you Koo"

"I-I love you more, my baby"

He kisses her forehead and a tear escape from his right eye, but he quickly wipes it and hugs the girl, trying to put her asleep.

A week later- After the surgery ~

Jungkook stares impatiently at his sister, who's sitting on the chair in the familiar doctor's cabin. His eyes are glimmering with tears and heartbeat increases with the every unfold the doctor does with the bandage that has been hugging y/n's eyes from several days.

"Okay, y/n-ah, open your eyes"

The girl slowly opens her eyelids, clutching Jungkook's hand tightly, and she immediately blinks, feeling a burning sensation in her eyes due to the light.

"Can you see me, little girl?"

The doctor asks and y/n looks so lost, too confused to reply after getting to see the world. She turns her head towards Jungkook, who's pressing his palm to his mouth to prevent crying loudly.

"K-koo?"

The girl visibly gulps, a strange feeling stinging her heart and tears dancing in her eyes too. She stands up from her seat, crashing her body with Jungkook's, inhaling his familiar aroma, making sure that he's her Koo. Jungkook drops from his knees, this time crying out loudly, hugging the little girl tightly, burrying his head on the crook of her neck. He is too happy to say anything, so he continues crying, he let goes the pain he was bearing for a long time.

"Congratulations, Mr.Jeon, she can see now"

The doctor who's watching the wholesome sibling moment has some tears too when he speaks.

Y/n pulls away herself from the hug, next stares at Jungkook's face. She softly runs her hands towards his hair, his eyes, his nose, at last his lips. She wipes away Jungkook's tears although they got replaced immediately.

"Koo is beautiful...I knew that..."

She softly mumbles, and Jungkook let goes a loud sob,next hugs her again.

"M-my b-baby is alright n-now. I'm the happiest man on the earth right now"

He mumbles, kissing her temple several times, it ends with a long forehead kiss. He's thankful for the every moment he held himself, the times he decided to not to give up. Seeing her baby sister seeing him makes him feel too better to describe, his vocabulary is too small to describe his feelings.

So I've something to tell. I was messaging with my bestie when I realise, bangtan is too familiar with me to think them as idols, special people. They've become a part of my life, everything I does, everywhere I go, a support for my regular life.
