Y/n let goes a silent sigh, glancing at her friends circle who are laughing out loudly. She forces up a smile too, not really finding any of the talks are funny, she feels like she is cornered. Being ignored is not something new to her, but each time it hurts as much as it did at the first place.

"So, would you guys hear me for a once? Let me tell you guys a joke!!! Do you know why the elephants can't use the computers? Because they are scared of the mouse" (Please don't judge I got it from Google, and ik that it's not funny at all!!!💀🙂)

Y/n says as she smiles, trying to engage in the conversation. The other six girls look at her with tiny smiles, not finding it's so funny. Y/n let goes a nervous smile and once the girls start talking with each other again, she sighs, a thin layer of tears is blocking her eyes.

"I have some work to do, I'll go back to my table!!!"

Y/n says as she stands up and the girls nod in approval, so she steps back to her place and sits down, pulling out a random book as she flips a random page, pretending to read it. But her eyes eventually stops at the girl who was sitting beside her till today, for a whole month, now she's sitting with the newly transferred student, they seem to be enjoying.

"Friends? Not for me I guess"

Y/n mumbles, gazing back at her book, feeling a sudden urge to cry. But she holds herself like she always do, embarrassed to cry infront of everyone and to get called as a cry baby. A lump forms in her throat, hearing the group of girls she was with before laughing, listening the Google assistant's joke which is the same one she told to them.  She visibly sees a girl nudging another girl and they immediately go quiet, while y/n focuses on her book again, pretending like she didn't see or hear anything. After few minutes the bell rings for the lunch break and y/n grabs her lunch, stepping towards the girls, thinking that she made them upset because of the previous incident. Although she knows that she did nothing wrong, she just couldn't stand with it, she feels guilty.

"Can I join with you guys?"

"Oh, sure, y/n-iee!!!"

The girls chirp and y/n nods, hating to act fake with them. She no longer wants their friendship, but because of their fakeness and her other thinking nature, she has to be a fake person for a while, she's too afraid to hurt someone. She silently watches the way the girls walk before her, leaving her behind, making her obvious that they've forgotten her already. However she shrugs it off, taking a seat with them. But watching them completely acting as if she doesn't exist makes her feel bad, she badly wants to disappear from here. So she gatherers courage, standing up, knowing that they aren't going to be bothered about her leave.

"I will eat with oppa today...I want to meet him"

She mumbles and the girls don't bothered to reply more than from nods. She stands there for second, having a slight thought to get invited to join them again. But once they don't do it, she sighs, picking up her lunch as she turns around to find Jungkook. Since he's a senior, whenever y/n wants to have a talk or take her meal with him, she steps to his warmth, Jungkook never denied it, he actually loves it. Finally her eyes figure out the familiar figure and she steps there with a heavy heart.

"Koo, can I join you please?"

Y/n mumbles, glancing at his friends who gives her welcoming looks and smiles.

"Uhuh, of course, baby. Let me grab you a chair"

Jungkook says as he stands up, grabbing an empty chair from a nearby table for her. He places it right beside his, understanding that she's upset of something. He unpacks her lunch for her, earning a grin from the girl.
