The time flew away in the speed of a blink. Jungkook filed a case against their dad and step mother, for abusing his sister. Both of Jungkook and y/n attended to a DNA test to confirm whether they are biological siblings. Y/n spent the last week safely in Jungkook's presence and it was the best period of her lifetime since present. They talk for hours, talk about themselves and what they went through, got to know each other very well and created many golden memories they have been missing for the past years.
"Koo, noo!!! I can do it by myself"
Y/n prevents Jungkook from tieing her shoelaces, which she dislikes alot, as she feels like she's bothering Jungkook so much. But despite her protests, Jungkook tie her shoelaces, giggling at her.
"I have missed sixteen years of your presence in my life, baby. It's a long time, so let me cover that by babying you alot!!!
He says as he extends his hand towards her, gesturing her to hold it.
"Koo, will everything be alright today? Will I be able to stay with you for the rest of my life?"
"You will, baby. I'm certain"
"But what if appa will do something bad to you...?"
"He can't, baby. Don't worry"
Jungkook sighs, flashing a smile and pulling her into a side hug. Soon the both starts their journey to the court, today is the day that will turn their lives upside down. They will get to know whether they are real siblings, they will see whether it is the truth or lie lives long.
Soon they reach their, sat on the bench until they will be called inside. They already can see their father and the step mother who are glaring at them, specifically at y/n. She scoots herself to Jungkook and he hugs her, understanding that she's afraid of the self appointed parents.
"Don't they have kids?"
"No, Koo...Few years ago, they got to know that mom is barren."
"You still call her mother?"
"She was my mom ever since I can remember, I can't ignore it, Koo"
"Our mom was really kind. She was the most beautiful soul I've ever met in my life"
Jungkook says, letting going a sigh. With that they were called inside. There weren't many people for witnesses the incident. Y/n and Jungkook were having each other's back, while few relatives of the parents can be seen at their side. The judge goes through the files of the case briefly, glancing at y/n, Jungkook and the parents. The procedure was sometimes slow and sometimes fast, they were asked different questions, the parents as the accused party and y/n as the aggrieved party.
"The court would like to announce...."
The judge takes a look around the court before she continues her utterance. Y/n holds Jungkook's hand tightly, feeling uneasy about the ongoing situation.
