Jungkook's Second Love || 21

Jungkook's age in this chapter is 28.

It was the middle of the night when Jungkook woke up from his sleep as he felt thirsty. He settles down on the bed and ruffles his hair and his sleepy eyes land on Yuwon, his girlfriend who was hugging him earlier. She was sleeping by her own now and it took Jungkook a minute to realise that Aeri isn't present there with them still. She sleeps with them most of the days, but her habit with sleeping with Jungkook reduced by a decent amount ever since Yuwon moved in with them although she said it's totally fine.

Fixing the blanket on Yuwon properly Jungkook places a kiss on her forehead, getting down from the bed as he was able to open his extremely sleepy eyes fully.

"All of those assignments and exams have messed up ri's sleeping schedule...."

He mumbles to himself and let out a yawn, turning on his phone to take a glance at the time. However his eyes widened at the realisation; it was almost four in morning.

"She's going to end up getting sick this time..."

He says in a frustrated tone and was about to leave when Yuwon moves around, her sleep looks interrupted.

"Where are you going, Kook?"

"Nothing... I'm just thirsty, go back to sleep..."

The boy says assuringly and Yuwon nods as she closes her eyes and fall asleep. She was way too sleepy to ask about Aeri and Jungkook too, didn't want her to worry about Aeri's health although he's extremely bothered about that. He was always thankful for Yuwon for accepting not only him but also his sister with a warm heart; something a majority of the girls he dated didn't do.

It's been nearly a year since Jungkook and Yuwon became lovers, all thanks to Aeri. Jungkook could never forget the way the everything happened out of nowhere in a random cafe while he was hanging out with Aeri. He accidentally caught a glimpse of Yuwon who was alone there and expressed that she's cute to his sister and Aeri, being the best sister she is, ended up getting her number as her brother was too shy.

It always mesmerised Jungkook the way Aeri did anything for him despite her own flaws.

However, like that Yuwon and Jungkook ended up being an official couple and it didn't took much time for both of them to understand that they are meant for eachother. Meeting her was one of the most accurate and a pretty accident in Jungkook's life.

Despite the cheerful side Yuwon always put on display, she had her own struggles. Her parents have abandoned her for a reason unknown to Jungkook and he patiently waited her to share it with him. She was a lonely soul, didn't have much friends. But she was filled with love, she was one of the kindest, the most innocent yet a suffered soul he has ever seen after his sister.

She always had been a giver, not a receiver.

So Jungkook always made sure to give all of his love to her and he was feeling more than relieved as Aeri too, earned a lifetime friend, a sister and a partner in crime for herself beside him.

Making his way out from the room Jungkook walked towards Aeri's study, his thirst which woke him up isn't there anymore. Opening the door he let goes of a soft sigh as he was welcomed with the sight of his sister who has fallen asleep on the table like most of the nights.

"I shouldn't have left her by her own..."

Jungkook says and curses at himself, feeling a hint of guilt and worry as he left her alone without forcefully dragging her to bed with them when he clearly knew this may happen.

Shaking his head he steps towards her and he glances at the messy desk. There were multiple empty coffee cups and the papers were scattering everywhere and her laptop remained on still.
