Jaden's back has been hurting for a long time now but he still plays baseball cause he doesn't want to let his team down.Today was a big day for jaden and his team it was the finals and he had to play."jaden are you sure your back doesn't hurt"DJ asked Jaden."yeah yeah i'm fine"he said getting his stuff to get you were really worried you didn't want him to get hurt 

"Jaden"you said pulling his face to you.he could tell you were worried so he stopped what he was doing and looked at you."promise me your back doesn't hurt and that you won't get hurt today"you said with worried eyes."yes"he said but he was lying...."promise me"you said."i promise"he said kissing you but he was lying because he didn't wanna let his team down

you got there a everyone came to watch Jaden."good luck Jaden"you said giving him a good luck kiss."thanks babe"he said running out to the field.the game was going good everything was perfect and there team was winning but then it was Jaden's turn to hit.He hit the ball as hard as he could but then.....he felt something in his back crack and he fell to the group

"ow shit"he said falling to the ground holding his back.his team ran to him and so did DJ you grabbed onto the fence trying to see what was going on."Jaden what happened"DJ said."i'm sorry dad I've been lying about my back i just wanted to play for my team"he said crying his back was really sore.

you heard what he said and started to tear knowing he lied to you too.he looked at you and saw you crying feeling really bad.he mouthed a "I'm sorry" but you looked away and ran to the bathroom. Jaden went to the strainers room and got crutches so he could walk and he saw you sitting next to Jayla.

you saw him but looked away because you were made that he broke your promise.you guys got into the car and of course you had to sit by Jaden."y/n..."he said softly but you didn't say anything you just went on your phone."baby i'm really sorry that i lied to you i just didn't want to be a failure to my team they needed me"he said."babe you not a failure not to your team,your family,your friends,not to me i just want you to be safe and not to lie to me"you said kissing him but also being gentle with him
