"I won't give you a chance to attack, so just come out." Killua said, stopping in his tracks. 'Finally...' I thought. It took a couple days for Imori to find Killua, so I had no choice but to stick with him. Well... Actually, I did have a choice. I just don't want to admit it. I knew it would be hard so I tried to do everything I could to distance myself.
Killua noticed though. "Killua. Who cares. Just keep walking." I spoke, hoping the albino boy would just keep walking. "It's starting to annoy me." Killua said, catching up to me. "It may be annoying, but we must endure." I whispered to the boy, hoping he would listen for once. "Yeah. Yeah." I sigh and start walking again.
Unlike Killua though, I couldn't sense someone following us. I thought being born here would enhance my senses and maybe I could become strong. How wrong I was. I then stop, recognizing the spot where the brothers would check on Imori. "What up?" Killua asked, stopping as well. We both then hear the brothers in the bushes.
"What? You couldn't beat little kids?"
"N-No! It's not like that! I was just thinking of going easy on them since they were just kids... I was waiting for them to go to sleep!" Imori yells, clearly lying to his brothers. "But I guess I should try to end this." I glance over at Killua who looked calm and collected. Imori then proceeds to walk closer and says to hand over his badge.
"Idiot." Killua said, making Imori kick his stomach. "Err..." I stand there nervously, knowing Killua got his badge. "Heh. That oughta hurt." One of the brothers say. The white-haired boy then kicks himself up, holding Imori's badge close to him. "So, you're 198. That's a number off from the one I need." Killua said, making the brothers shocked.
Without a second thought, Killua holds the badge out towards me. "Hurry up and take it so I can get mine." I sigh and gently grab the badge, placing it into my bag. I then see the brothers go into formation, "This might take a little. I'll just sit till you're done, Fluffy." I said, watching Killua nod.
'I'm surprised he hasn't said anything about the nickname I gave him.' I thought, sitting down on a rock. I watch as the albino boy kicks one of the brothers and holding his hand up to his neck. "Don't move. My claws are sharper than any knife." Killua said. Killua then asks for the bigger guy's badge, which now he had no problem doing.
Killua finally walks away from the brother that was on the ground and throws the badge away. Hanzo most likely won't get mixed up now since I've changed the timeline. "Let's go." Killua said, walking passed me. I stand up and follow the boy through the bushes without a second thought.
"Now I'll have to try and keep them both. I still don't know who's after me." I said, feeling Killua's stare. "I'm sure you won't get your badge stolen. You're with me after all." I scoff, not wanting to admit that it felt nice how Killua was trying to reassure me. "Ha! Yeah, because I trust you to keep me safe!" I said, looking the other way.
I had to maintain a certain attitude. If I were to show anything other than that it could lead to Killua and me to become close. "Hah?! I got you your badge! What d'ya mean?!" Killua yells, making me groan at the fact that my ears were now ringing. "Well, you didn't HAVE to give it to me. If anything, I used you."
Killua was now glaring at me. "You are such a brat." Killua said. "Not necessarily a brat. More like, doing the hunter exam. I'm not like this outside of it, honest." I say, staring up at the sky. The sun was setting, we now had to find a place to stay. "We might need to find a place. Maybe you'll be fine, but I can't stay out in the open."
I wasn't lying. I mean I AM being targeted. But it was also an excuse because I hated the dark. 'I wonder if it'll be darker than last night.' I thought. "K. I wouldn't want you to get tired." Killua whispered. I sigh, looking around for a place to stay.

~Killua's Pov~
"I'm going to sleep. Don't wake me unless it's important. Please." (Y/n) says, getting comfortable on a branch. We found a tree to sit at for the night. (Y/n) was definitely in a hurry to find a place though. "Fine." I say, glancing at him. The (h/c) haired boy then closes his eyes, making me sigh. 'It's going to be boring without him awake.' I thought.
I didn't want to admit it but (y/n)'s company was nice. Taking another glance at (y/n), I saw that he was already asleep. "I didn't think he could fall asleep so fast." I said, not really talking to anyone. We only had a day left after tomorrow. It was weird how no one had come for (y/n)'s badge yet. I stare at the bag that was at his feet, wanting to snoop.
Taking my chances, I grab it and open the bag, looking inside. There wasn't much inside, mostly clothes and some chocolate bars. "That was a waste." I said to myself, shaking my head and closing his bag. I honestly didn't know what I was expecting. Maybe a weapon or two. 'I'm surprised he doesn't carry a weapon.' I thought.
I place the bag back in its original spot and lean back. Closing my eyes, I take a small rest for the night.
=====
"Who cares." I say, clearly annoyed with the white-haired boy. "I'm just curious. Do you not need a weapon?" Killua asks again. I groan and walk faster, only for the boy to catch up to me. "Killua. Why were you in my bag?" I was now questioning the boy who then hums. "Because I can. Could I have a chocolate bar?" I groan loudly.
"No. Someone who snoops through my bag doesn't deserve a chocolate bar." I said, seeing Killua's face change into an offended stare. "Oh, come on! I got you your badge. It's the least you can do!" Killua exclaimed. I was about to protest but then got an idea. I stop, which also made the white-haired boy stop as well.
I smile and say, "You know what. Sure. Only if you do something." Killua was now surprised about the change of attitude. "R-really?" I laugh a bit at his confused face, "Yeah. Let's sit." I sit down on a rock, watching Killua sit in front of me. "So, uh, what d'ya want me to do?" Killua asked, clearly sus of me.
"It's nothing bad, honest. I'm not THAT terrible." I said, staring into his blue eyes. Killua scratches the back of his head, saying, "Can you just tell me what you want?" I hum and get 2 chocolate bars out. There was only 2 and I was willing to give it to him if he followed along. "I'll give you the 2 last ones if you just follow along." I said.
The albino boy nodded, clearly wanting me to hurry up. I then lift up my hand and move my fingers to make a gun. "Alright Killua. Die now." I say, copying Alluka. I was curious to see if the boy would do it. Killua only stared at me; his eyes slightly widened. "Come on. Die." I say, still pointing my finger gun at him.
I then see him smile a bit, saying, "Sure." I was a bit surprised that he was actually going to do it. "Bang." I then pretended to shoot him, watching as Killua quickly tuck his head into his shirt. He falls back, making it look like he died. I chuckle a bit. 'No wonder Alluka found this amusing.' I thought.
"Alright Killua. You can come back now." I said, seeing Killua slowly sit up and poke his head out. Giving him a genuine smile, I hand him the chocolate bars. "Yes!" Killua yelled, grabbing the chocolate bars from my hand. "How do you do that?" I ask, watching Killua unwrap one of the chocolate bars.
"I just tuck my head in like a turtle. I can show you how if you want." Killua says, taking a bite. "That'd be cool." I chuckle at him. I was enjoying myself. I almost forgot about keeping my distance for a second...
