We were now sitting in the bus that takes us to Kururoo Mountain. I had to sit by myself in the back because Leorio got stuck next to another person. Although, I was in front of those thugs who didn't know they'd die today. The bus tour guide was saying something, but I was tuning her out because I already knew all of it.

The trio were sitting in the front. I felt like I was back in school. I used to sit at the back of the bus because I didn't have many friends in my previous life. 'This sucks.' I thought. I was happy when the bus had finally made there stop, I had a hard time getting out of my seat though. "(Y/n)." I look over to see Leorio, rushing toward me.

He was risking getting slapped on the arm by others. "What- Whoa!" I felt Leorio grab my wrist and quickly pull me off the bus. "Leorio, you're hurting my wrist." I say, feeling Leorio untighten his grip, still holding onto my wrist. I then put two and two together. 'He was trying to get me away from those thugs. Awe...' I thought.

I smiled, standing a little closer to Leorio. "Would you look at that." Leorio said. The poor guy had to put his suitcase down. I decided to hold it for him since one of his hands was still holding onto my wrist. He was probably going to need his other hand as well. The tour guide continued to say that this was the Zoldyck estate.

I also saw some people taking pictures near the tall gate, making me chuckle a bit. "No one who's entered has ever returned alive, which has earned this gate the nickname 'The Door to Hades'." I whistle at the height. It was cool to see in person. The lady then proceeds to say you need to get by the security checkpoint to enter.

Leorio was surprised that beyond this gate was private property and has also learned that this was their front yard. I started to tune out the tour guide, wanting this to hurry up. I never realized how much longer it would take in person. The show made it seem like it was quick with everything. 'I feel stupid.' I thought, sweat dropping.

I then notice the thugs walking towards the security checkpoint. I then felt Leorio pull me back a little, forcing me to stand behind him. 'Heh. Daddy material.' I thought, smirking a bit. That was off topic, but it had to be said. I was thinking how Kurapika was lucky to have a man like this. Even if they didn't get together in the show.

"If we just snap a picture of them, we're gonna get a hundred million in reward money." One of the thugs said, making Leorio gasp. Leorio started to talk about how he should've taken a picture of the white-haired boy. Kurapika and Gon only stared at him with funny faces. I then watch as the thugs go closer to the security checkpoint.

They really thought nothing was going to happen. I wanted to laugh at how dumb they were. The two dudes finally make it and grab the security guards' collar, making him give them the key. The guard was then tossed away. Gon was quick to help, so were Leorio and Kurapika. I only followed the trio, knowing I already dug a grave by coming with.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'll be alright."

I look over at the thugs who have opened the gate, running in. I smirk a bit. Once the gate closes, the guard said, "Oh, darn! The master hates it when Mike snacks between meals." Gon was confused and tried to question him further only to hear the thug's scream. The gate opened once more, only seeing bones being tossed out.

Everyone else screams and runs towards the bus, not wanting to stick around. "Well, damn it. Mikes only supposed to eat at designated times. Mike! Don't blame those extra pounds on me!" I chuckle a bit, finding humor in that. Kurapika looked at me weirdly but didn't question. "What was that thing?" Kurapika asked.

Hearing a loud growl, I look up at the gate. "Hey, you guys! What are you doing? Time to get back on the bus!" The lady yelled. Gon only looked behind him and smiled. "Go ahead without us cause we're all staying here." Gon said. The lady was surprised but left with everyone else.

           =====

The sun was setting. I was nervous. I was afraid of this. 'What am I going to do?' I thought. I have now realized how stupid my fear of the dark was. I knew I needed to get over it at some point. I'm literally 12. Even in my previous life, I gotten over the dark by the time I was 7. "(Y/n)?" I turn my head towards Kurapika, who was waiting for me.

The trio was going into the security office. "You can go in without me. I'll be there in a second." I said. Kurapika only shook his head, refusing to go in without me in tow. I sigh, not wanting to fight the blonde on this. I then walk towards Kurapika. As soon as I was close enough, the blonde pushed me gently in front.

We walked in to find Zebro pouring tea into some cups. He was saying how he was happy to hear we were Killua's friends. Although, I don't consider myself his friend. I would but it could screw everything up. "I've worked here for the past 20 years, and to the best of my recollection, you four are the first friends who've ever come to visit."

Zebro was now placing the plates on the desk. I was wondering if the tea was any good. I never really drank tea back in my previous life, but my dad loved it. "Now, I probably shouldn't be telling you this, seeing as how I work here, but this place is pretty lonely. No one ever really visits." Zebro starts, now pointing his thumb towards the trash can.

"Well, except those types. We get our fair share of those." Zebro chuckles just thinking about it. I stand next to Kurapika, grabbing the cup of tea that was laid out. I was curious about the taste. And Zebro did lay it out for us. I took a sip, cringing a bit at the bitterness. 'Maybe a little sugar would make it taste better.' I thought.

Placing the cup back down, I decided to leave it be. "Oh, well. Anyways, I'm glad you're here. Thank you for coming." Zebro said, bowing his head. "Don't mention it." Leorio said, giving the security guard a small smile. "However... That doesn't mean I'm going to be able to let any of you inside."

"Why not?" I ask, not realizing how dumb I was being. Everyone looked at me. "Well, you saw it earlier, didn't you? How huge the beast's arm was? That arm belongs to Mike. The Zoldyck's watchdog." The trio listened carefully. Me? Not so much. I already knew everything, so I was spacing out.

'I'm hungry.' I thought. No normal person would be thinking about that at a time like this. Although, I wasn't normal, so it was fine. "But, like I was saying, I can't let you in." Zebro said, breaking my train of thought. "I wouldn't want friends of young master Killua being stripped down to their skeletons."

Kurapika then asked how Zebro was safe and that he shouldn't have been able to go in. "Hmm, that's very perceptive, but the fact is, you're only about half right. See, I don't need a key to get inside. This key was specially made for intruders only." Zebro said.

"There's a key for intruders?"

"Almost all of them go right for the front gate. About 90%. I couldn't begin to tell you why, though."

Zebro then explains that if he doesn't open the gate for them, they take it by force. "So, that means the gate isn't actually locked." I said, making the trio gasp a bit. Zebro widened his eyes a bit, seeing as I got it correct. "That means there is another way to open it. Am I right?" I say, questioning the poor security guard...
