Tina and Uriel arrived at the cabin in the dead of night. It wasn't the same cozy building they'd accidentally run into in the morning, however. Trees around the clearing had been stomped down, wood broken and splintered. The cabin itself was little different, the roof had been ripped off and thrown over. At seeing that, Tina hurried to see inside. Four people were there. The sailor Thomas, Lola, Elise... and Dick. "What happened?" Tina asked. "Where's- where's Fernanda?"

"They got her," Elise said, serious. She was getting some dirty bandages removed from her ankle and replaced with new ones. When Uriel entered the cabin, she asked. "What happened to you, guys? Why's he naked? Don't tell me you've been shagging in the woods all this time."

"We weren't," Tina said, exasperated. "Mrs. Bales caught us and took off my clothes, so Uri gave me his." A complete lie. The real reason was that she'd grown enormous and those clothes had been ripped to shreds by her huge proportions, even if she tried them on now, the top wouldn't fit her new chest size, and those denim shorts would get stuck as soon as they reached her butt. Neither Tina nor Uriel made any mention of her transformation. They'd agreed on their way here that, if she could stay normal anyways, there was no point in telling the rest what had really happened, that it would just cause unnecessary distrust and fear, which they didn't need now.

"Is there any spare clothes here?" Uriel asked, embarrassed.

"I think there's a janitor's getup in one of the closets," Thomas said. "I'll go look. Lola?"

"Yes?" the girl asked, she was drying herself with a towel bigger than her body.

"Help Elise with her bandages while I'm gone, alright?"

"Alright." Lola did as she was asked, and then Uriel followed the big man into another part of the cabin. Tina didn't think he'd get much privacy, seeing as how the walls were broken down and they could see the stars through the non-existent roof.

"What happened here?" Tina asked again. "You didn't tell me."

Letting out a sigh, Elise began to explain. "It all began a few hours ago when we got back..."

Elise limped through the jungle, aided by Lola. Her ankle hurt so fucking much, holy shit, but she didn't care. She was alive, she'd been saved, nothing else mattered, anything good happening from now on would be an extra. "Thank you." How many times had she said that in the last ten minutes? Who knew? But Lola didn't seem to mind, she responded to every thank you with kindness, no matter how many times it had been repeated. They reached the cabin in the jungle, Thomas was there, thank god, still dripping from his swim around the island, and with a new shotgun in his hands. He carried her to a bed in the sleeping area and set out to bandage her sprained ankle, putting his shotgun next to a bedside table. "God, it hurts," she said, holding her leg up for Thomas.

"Don't worry about it," Thomas said, kneeling in front of her. "A few painkillers and a little rest and you'll be good."

"Thanks," she said, once again.

"Where's Fernanda?" Lola asked Dick.

The guy just shrugged, trying not to make eye contact. "She got eaten."

"Oh," Lola looked devastated. "Did- did Uriel and Tina make it back?"

Thomas shook his head. "We were hoping they'd come with you."

"We should go look-"

"No," Thomas decided. "It's too dangerous out there. One of those monsters is already looking for you. What if they're already caught? You'll be putting yourselves at risk for nothing."
