"Peter, I believe your friends have arrived". FRIDAY's voice woke Peter up from his quick power nap, which he took because somehow, he just knew today was going to be exhausting. He loved the Avengers, that wasn't even in question. But he knows for a fact that one: they would most-definitely embarrass him in front of MJ and he was just not having that today, and two: Ned was going to have a complete meltdown. And, well... He was just not having that today.

Taking a brief look into the mirror though, Peter immedeately regretted that nap, his hair looked like it always does when Tony ruffles his hair. Which he does like four times a day, five when he feels especially annoying. Peter actually kind of liked it, but that's another story for another day.

With a hairbrush in one hand and re-brushing his teeth with the other, Peter hecticly walked around in circles through the bathroom that was connected to the room he had at Stark Tower. Moments like these make it seem almost normal, but... He has a room. At Stark Tower. With a bathroom. Peter swears it's never going to be normal to him.

Anyways, maybe the Spider Boy should've looked around once or twice, because if he did, he would've noticed a very amused MJ, a gaping Ned and an entirely too smug Hawkeye standing in his doorstep. He didn't though. Not until MJ decided that that was enough embarrassment for one day and cleared her throat loudly.

"MJ! What-". "Oh hi Pete! Just thought I would bring your friends up here instead of rudely letting them expire in the lobby." said Clint, interrupting the kid. "Drama Queen much?" Peter was feeling extra confident. Clint grinned, glad to see Tony's protegée has been acting more comfortable around all of them. "Always. Have fun kids, bye!" And then he was gone.

"Dude... Did you just call Hawkeye a Drama Queen?"

The day went on, and so did the Avengers' unspoken little plan to get to know Peter's friends. It started with Pepper knocking on the door, asking if they wanted anything to drink. What followed was a thirty minute Q&A solely consisting of MJ asking anything and everything about woman empowerment and being a successful CEO. Ned listened attentively, whereas Peter just observed MJ and how excited she looked. He wished he'd see her like this more often, it suited her. He swore she caught him looking once, but he played it off by caughing dramatically. Totally inconspicious, Peter.

Pepper left, and the three friends spent hours just talking about what has been going on recently, seeing as Peter has been kidnapped and all that. At some point they realized that they actually WERE thirsty. So they went into the living area, a nervous Peter leading the way, hoping that everyone would be busy and just... not there.

Though luck. Completely by coincidence (of course) literally EVERYONE was there. Innocently sitting on the couch or leaning on the kitchen's counter. Something that definetly didn't seem suspicious at all (note the sarcasm) was that they all went quiet as soon as they saw Ned and MJ. Great.

The unavoidable meeting went so much better than expected. As soon as the nervousity took off, Peter actually had a great time. Apart from May, all his favorite people on earth were in one room! Yeah, MJ asked Tony some offensive questions about taking responsibility and becoming more attentive and all that. Yeah, Nat was extremely obvious when she pointed to MJ and gave Peter an approving thumps up. And yeah, Ned had a few freak outs, especially when Bruce complimented him on his knowledge in science. But that was Peter's family. And he wouldn't exchange it for the world.
