After Peter finally let go of Tony, everything went back to normal in a matter of seconds. "So, food?". Tony grinned at his kid, ruffling his hair. At this point, he could practically smell when Peter was hungry, knowing he would never ask for food on his own.

All it took was the magic word for Peter to get giddy. "Do you have any leftovers of Mr. Bucky's cookies?". Everyone in the room - hell, probablby everyone in the building - knew Bucky was the best baker of them all. And Peter loved to take advantage of that. Who wouldn't?

Quickly, all the other Avengers joined the father-son duo at the table, talking about Wanda's and Vision's upcoming return to the tower. Although Peter looked forward to meeting the couple, he couldn't deny the faint nervousness he felt. He was always a bit nervous when it came to meeting new people, but it was never directed at the universe's strongest witch and a super robot. Would they be angry that some kid they don't even know just kinda invaded their living space? Would they like him?

"Peter, how's school?" Steve asked. Peter didn't answer, still in thought. "Kid? You okay?" said Tony, nudging the boy next to him. That brought him back to reality. "Oh, uhm, huh? Oh yeah, school! It's good! There's actually a field trip coming up.". "Oooh, exciting! To where? Disney Land?!" was Clint's addition to the conversation. Natasha rolled her eyes, never quite getting used to her best freind's child-likeness. "Oh yeah, because a high school in Queens has the budget to fly thrirty teenagers across the Atlantic to go to Disney Land.".

Clint stuck his tongue out, he clearly did not have a better answer in store. Peter giggled, he never got tired of his family's bickering. "It's just to a zoo. Something about teaching in a hands-on environment or something.". Not a second later, he started frowning. "What is it, маленький паук?". Of course Natasha was the first one to notice. Who else?

"Oh it's nothing, I just remebered I can't go to the field trip. Aunt May can't chaperone that day and it's one of the school's preconditions, so... yeah.". Tony immediately perched up at that. "What kind of stupid precondition is that?". Peter simply shrugged his shoulders, he already came to terms with the fact that he couldn't go. "I'll chaperone. Maybe talk to that Flash kid while I'm there. Sounds like a plan? Good." Tony decided. Though it didn't seem like he left any room for refusal, Pepper cleared her throat. "As much as I would like for you to go, you can't that day either Tony. Important meeting, remember?". "But-". "No buts, we already delayed this for ages. You have to be there. Sorry, Pete.". Pepper smiled symphatecially. She really did adore the kid.

Peter gave a small smile in return. "It's not a problem, Pepper. It's just a zoo, I think I'll survive. Thanks anyways Tony.". Everyone thought the topic was over, and just when Peter started talking about something else, Thor spoke up. "I will chaperone your trip, young spiderling!".

And just like that, Peter had to explain to his teachers why one of the Avengers - a god from outer space, more specifically - volunteerd to oversee their class trip.

"Dude, am I crazy or is your life just getting cooler and cooler by the second?!" Ned screeched. He was still star-struck, and probably slighltly bruised, seeing as Thor patted him on the shoulder with all his god-strenght just five minutes ago. "Ah, the spider's best friend. I have heard nothing but good!". Yeah, it was save to say Ned was on the brink of collapsing.

"I told him he didn't have to, he insisted!" Peter whispered. "In his words, he wants to get to know 'the tiny midgardian that made heart of the man of iron melt!'". Apparently, Peter didn't whisper quietly enough, though, because a second later, he heard MJ chuckle from the row of the bus in front of them. "'Tiny', huh?". was all she said before continuing to read the book she brought. Peter blushed. She wasn't supposed to hear that.

Speaking of the bus they were currently in... Thor sat next to Mr. Harrington, who was sweating and stammering. Who could blame him?
