17: Truth

"Shit" Lincoln stopped the car rapidly as they saw 4 black cars blocking the way with at least 20 agents hiding behind them with their guns up "we run?"

"I hate running"

They both got out and Lincoln ran Madelyn's way. Once they were next to each other they started running as fast as they could. They could hear the agents firing at them but they missed, fortunately. They turned in the first corner they saw and just kept running. Then about 10 agents were running after them plus a car. They kept running, eventually they lost the car and a few agents but on their last turn, a bullet scraped Lincoln's arm. Lincoln had to stop running and Madelyn went after him. She turned to see the agent while having her hand on his stomach putting him behind her. Then she saw him, she wished for anyone but him. Spencer had his gun up against her, Hotch was beside him with his gun lowered, Emily just left her gun pointing at Lincoln while she looked at Madelyn, Derek was with his gun down terrified of how she would react, and finally, Rossi with his gun pointed at Lincoln.

"You won't be able to get a shot"

"Madelyn, come back, we can talk this out," Rossi said

"That's not going to happen" Lincoln moved to stand before her which made everyone on the team point their guns at him

"Madelyn, let's go, you're safe," Hotch said without tearing his eyes from Lincoln

Madelyn then noticed the faraway cars that were coming her way. She looked at Spencer that was the only one looking at her. She could see it, he was disappointed, hurt, and worried at the same time. Spencer could also notice how Madelyn was feeling, confused, worried, scared, and determined.

"I can't go," Madelyn said turning to Hotch

"Yes you can Moon," Emily said

"It's going to be okay, we are going to figure this out," Morgan said

"No, she's not leaving with you" Lincoln snapped

"Shut up Campbell, Madelyn come, we will protect you"

"I can't Hotch"

"You are coming with us, Madelyn!" Hotch screamed at her

Suddenly the thoughts were too much, the pressure has built up, and the cars were too close. Without thinking, Madelyn raised her hand realizing waves from it to a signal tower just in front of the cars. All the team looked back to the disaster. The ATCU cars were blocked, the people screaming, and the tower was in pieces. The team looked back at Madelyn, and Lincoln just grabbed her arm and ran away with her while the team stared in shock.

"Maddie?" That was enough to break Madelyn out of her thoughts

"Yes?"

"With no stops, we get there in a day"

"Great, another thing to add to our crimes, car theft"

"At least you get to see Harper"

Harper. That was the only thing keeping her mind. She was finally going to see her. No more nights wondering how she is. Harper.

...

"What the fuck Hotchner?" Gregory screamed at him once the team got to the office

"Gregory!" Analise spoke up "she's one too"

"A what?" JJ said getting out of the elevator

"An alien, is she an alien as well," Gregory said looking at Hotch

"We don't know that for certain" he answered

"Yeah we do" Gregory and Analise walked away and the whole team went to Garcia

As soon as they opened the door they saw her. Turned around. Leaving a voice message,

"So please, please explain it because" then she was cut off and saw the rest "it's true, the waves leave her hand, you can see it on the cameras"
