Madelyn had just gotten to work when she saw Garcia and Morgan at the coffee table talking.

"Morning" Morgan

"Hi," Madelyn said, drinking more of her tea, and continued "are the rest here? JJ said it was urgent"

"JJ is in her office same but no one else is sweety," Garcia said smiling

Madelyn sat down and closed her eyes. She had only slept a few hours as she went out with some friends, more like one, the day before and that wasn't helping her headache.

Soon they were all in the conference room. Five girls were dead and one missing, all blondes with brown eyes, he kept them 3 days before killing them and Kennedy was taken the day before. Soon the team was on their way to Atlanta.

The police were hesitant about the FBI helping but it wasn't their call, after all, the captain on the contrary was as welcoming as he could be.

He came into the conference room where Madelyn, Reid, Morgan, and JJ were sitting. While Hotch and Rossi were taking some fresh eyes to Kennedy's room, Emily was checking the dump site of the latest victim.

"They found her body," the captain said with a blank face, more like a forced one.

Morgan sighed and dropped his pen on the table.

"It's been only 46 hours, he's shortened his time with the victims," Moon remarked

"I think I might know why," JJ said looking at the TV in the other room and Morgan grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.

"We have not yet received an official statement from the Atlanta PD but we do know we have a serial killer in our hands," The TV lady said as if it was just the weather, actually Madelyn was sure that that was the weather lady when she lived in Atlanta.

"FBI brought in to catch the serial killer" Reid read the headliner on the screen

"It's on every Channel" the captain informed

"This just got way more complicated," Madelyn said staring at the TV

"Let's call Hotch and Emily, I think we are ready to give the profile," Morgan told the captain, as he nodded and left.

Reid and Madelyn were sent to check out the latest dump site. The car ride was dead silent, not awkward but silent. At first Madelyn hated the car rides with Reid, not the rides but the silence. Now after two years on the team, and being paired up with Reid constantly, she got used to it.

"The victim, she has no connection to the other ones?" Madelyn said while reading the case files

"Yes, we already stated that," Reid said looking at the road

"But the second and third victims, Harriet and Georgia shared a grocery shop, and victim number one, Jasmine, had a bank account at the bank Harriet worked at, the third victim, and the fourth shared a laundry place, which they both visited the day they died, maybe they all have some kind of connection" Madelyn stated

Reid noticed her chosen language, he always did. As always after the victims die she remembered herself by adding the word victim, but when there is still a chance that they are alive she just called them by their name.

"We didn't know that" Reid looked briefly and Madelyn and then back at the road

"Yeah, maybe he stocks the victims after their deaths, to relieve the deaths or whatever, knowing that they can't continue their lives, it's kinda sick but" Madelyn ranted, she wasn't sure what she was saying so she just shut her mouth

"That's a good theory, send it to hotch" Reid congratulated her

They were soon back on the plane, the unsub, James Haris, ended up being a normal guy, his ex-girlfriend, a blonde with brown eyes, cheated on him so he wanted to kill her, see, just a regular American citizen.

"Aaand I win" Madelyn put down her cards

Reid looked curiously, no one could beat him until she entered the BAU and that was something Madelyn loved.

"How many times was that? Three times in a row Moon?" Morgan might love it too

"I'm not playing anymore" Reid throws his cards on the table and changes his seat while Morgan and Madelyn laugh.

Back at the office, Madelyn was at her desk completing her paperwork when JJ turned the volume of the TV louder and all of them looked toward the screen.
