Madelyn was in the office, before anyone, sitting at her desk. She was waiting for Penelope. She had gotten to the office at least an hour earlier. The elevator doors opened and the walking sunshine walked out and to the girl.
"Good morning my British" Penelope started calling her that since she learned that she drank tea every day.
"Hi"
"No tea today?" Penelope questioned, Madelyn always got to work with a tea
"No, hey can I ask you for a favor?" Madelyn almost begged
"Sure sweaty"
They got to Penelope's office and Madelyn continued talking
"Pen, this is important, and it's going to sound really weird, okay, but you can't tell anyone, not even Morgan" Madelyn talked slowly so Penelope could understand perfectly
"Okay, does this have to do with the call? Morgan told me about-" Penelope was really worried and it was sweat but not what Madelyn needed right now
"Please Pen" Now Madelyn was begging
"Okay, what"
"I need your computers, 5 minutes tops" Penelope looked shocked at Madelyn's words
"I can't, I can't do that"
"Pen please"
"You don't even know how to work them"
"Please, 5 minutes"
"5 with me watching"
It took some time but finally she gave in, 5 minutes and when Penelope would come in. Madelyn quickly went to the computer and searched for "Alisha Whitley." She found no information since Afterlife so she moved on. "Wilfred Hale" after searching she found an address under an alias and a credit card activity from the day before, she wrote down the address and then eliminated any trace of what she searched for and eliminated Wilfred's address and a credit card from the system. She then opened the door and Penelope was on the other side looking at her watch.
"3 minutes"
"Thank you pen" Madelyn walked away.
She then walked into the briefing room and Penelope immediately put her eyes on her. The rest of the team didn't notice, they were all waiting for JJ to start.
"The files are in front of you, we are dealing with a local, Amy Hastings, she is 7 years old, and disappeared half an hour ago"
"How are we sure that she is even missing?" Rossi questioned JJ while the rest looked for an explanation as well
"There is footage of it" JJ put on a video on the screen as a response.
The video showed Amy and what everyone assumed was her mother walking out of a supermarket. Then the woman starts to pay for her parking place when a man, his back facing the camera, grabs Amy and makes a run for it without the mother even noticing.
"It's good that it was caught early, we have 23 and a half hours to find her," Reid said
"JJ, Morgan, and I are going to talk to the family, Rossi and Prentiss I want you two in victimology, we need to know if this was random or if he choose her for a reason, Reid and Moon you two will go to the abduction area, and Garcia find everything you can get from the video about the unsub" everyone stands up ready to leave and Hotch continues "Madelyn stay for a moment" everyone looks back at Madelyn and then leaves without saying a word.
"Yes?"
"I need you on your top game, can you do that?"
"Yes sir"
