When we got to the mortuary, Sam, Dean and I climbed out while Cass and Jack stayed in the car.

"Alright," Dean said.

"What do we tell Athena?" I asked.

"Well, we keep it simple, tell her the guy's she's banging eats dead people, and we're here to kill him," Dean deadpanned. "Or we could lie."

"Yeah, we definitely lie," Sam stated.

We descended into the mortuary and found Athena.

"Athena?" I got her attention gently.

"What the hell are you doing in my house?" she asked. "Again."

"Look, I-I'm a..." Sam began.

"I know who you are," Athena cut him off. "Answer the question."

"Okay, my- my associates and I, we're- we're looking for your boyfriend."

"Why? Is this about the grave robbery?"

"And a murder," Dean added.

"A what?"

"Sheriff's deputy was killed last night."

Athena was staring at us like we were crazy, and I really didn't blame her.

"We just wanna talk to him," I assured her. "That's all. So... do you know where he is?"

"He said he had to go to the bank."

When we confronted Dave at the bank, Jack ended up accidentally killing one of the security guards while Dave got away.

"Is this the first time he's hurt anyone?" Cass asked us back at the motel.

"No," Sam shook his head. "No, but it's the first time he's hurt someone who didn't get back up."

"Alright, you two should get Jack back to the Bunker," Dean addressed Sam and Cass.

"What?" Sam asked.

"The cops are gonna be on their way. We gotta get him out of town."

"Okay, but what- what about the ghoul?" Cass asked. "I can stay here."

"No, Ellie and I will handle it," Dean told him. "Besides, you need to be with the kid in case he... you know."

Cass sighed heavily, nodding in resignation.

"Okay. Alright."

Dean and I left to head to the mortuary, where we found Sarge outside next to his truck with a rifle over his shoulder.

"Y'all looking for someone?" Sarge asked us. "'Cause I am. Bank in town just got robbed. Turned out to be a real O.K. Corral type deal. Big old shootout."

"Yeah, we heard about that," I confirmed.

"Mm hm. Shawnte, the clerk, recognized the perp's voice. She said he sounded just like the fella that's been dating Athena."

"That so?" Dean asked.

"And we got prints back from the murder," Sarge continued. "They matched prints from the bank. The boy's been busy. I already checked his place. It's cleaned out, but I figure he ain't goin' nowhere without  his best girl. So that's why I'm here. Why are you here?"

"Same thing," I told him. "Trying to get the bad guy. Where's your badge?"

"I don't need one. This is family business."

"Well, I should tell you, we're not taking him alive," Dean said.

"Neither am I," Sarge countered.

"Alright then. Um... aim for the head."
