Chapter 18. All My Children

In Elijah's room, I am sitting put my makeup and Elijah enters the room with a big box, I smile "Hey, handsome"

Elijah kisses my forehead "Hey, Belle"

I look at the box "What is that?"

Elijah smiles "I asked Rebekah to buy a dress for you. I didn't see it"

"you don't have to"

Elijah put my hair behind my ear "You're my girl"

I smile at him and we hug "Go, I want to be ready"

"Fine"

Two hours later, It's evening. Cars are pulling up the driveway in front of the mansion. Inside there are lots of people talking. A live band is playing classical music.

There are knocks on Elijah's room door. 

"Wait, Elijah" I take a deep breath and open the door.

Elijah smiles and takes my hand spins me looking at the dress and I pose like a model

Elijah smiles "You look stunning"

I smile "You look amazing too"  fixing his jacket.

Elijah extends his arm "My lady"

I smile "My lord" I take his arm. I and Elijah put arm in arm as going downstairs.

Downstairs, Everyone was looking at me and Damon was watching us, It was the ball. Everyone is dressed up as I and Elijah welcome the guests. 

Damon walks over to Carol Lockwood and hands her a glass of champagne. Kol walks over and kisses Carol's hand as he greets her. 

Damon holds out his hand to shake Kol's hand. Kol doesn't shake his hand. Kol walks away. Damon sees Elena enter wearing an exquisite dress. He stares at her.

Stefan and Damon walk up to meet Elena. 

I say "I feel bad for Stefan"

Elijah gives me a look "For Stefan"
