Narrator POV

No one believes their life will turn out just kind of ok. We all think we're going to be great. And from the day we decide to become surgeons, we are filled with expectation. Expectations of the trails we will blaze, the people we will help, the difference we will make.

It's morning, and Rebekah and Elijah are sitting together at the ferry looking at the sun "See, living here is more fun"

"That's your life, not mine" she takes out a wooden old box "Here"

Elijah takes it "Thank you"

Rebekah looks at the homes "All the people don't know what we are"

"No, they wake up go job and drive their kids' to school and are very ordinary people"

Rebekah bored "Our life is best" she chuckle "you are a surgeon and you get to impress the girl, and I can go home. You know how crowded cities depress me."

Elijah smiles weakly "I'm not trying to impress the girl, I am in this job for years."

"I should bloody hope you are, why else are we out here?" Elijah remains silent "Come on, Elijah! You've fallen for her, admit it! May do wonders for the stick that's lodged up your enduringly-stoic arse if you did."

Elijah smiles "If I admit to you that it's complicated, would that suffice? Or, are you determined to torment me throughout this endeavor?"

"Lydia fallen for you too, she isn't a surgeon intern or ordinary people. Lydia is a witch, she won't die like humans, she will live as she wants, brother"

Elijah sighs "It's just__"

"I love her she will be a part of our family, tell her that you love her. you didn't let me to come all that way for your creepy old box, I know something special on it"

Lydia POV

Great expectations of who we will be, where we will go, and then we get there.

In the hospital, I am sitting alone at the stairs. Alex sits next to me and I give a look "Addison kissed me"

I stare at him "Addison kissed you?"

"I kissed back but I am avoiding her for a week"

"Great, head to the attending lounge and make a group of avoiding men with Elijah"

Alex shrugs "Come on"

I sit at the reception and Addison and Callie approach me "Hello Ladies"

Addison says "I kissed Karev."

Callie says "George has become a sex machine."

I say "Floor all yours today"

In the Locker room, Izzie says "George has turned into a sex machine. Are you hearing me? A machine of sex. We have to do something. What's wrong with you people?"

Meredith says "Derek kept me up all night with his ranting. Cristina and Burke still aren't speaking to each other."

Cristina says "Oh you know what? I'm fine. I'm just not going to be the first one talking. He's going to be the first cause I'm in the right. Talking first is for losers. I'm winning."
